LG enV VX-9900
VX9800 user's take on the 9900...
reasons to upgrade to 9900:
smaller, lighter, better camera, camera lens cover, prettier UI.
reasons not to upgrade:
have to purchase a new memory card (mini to micro)
the phone does not sit flat (honestly, what product designer decided that it was a good idea to have the camera stick out like that out of the bottom.)
honestly, i think my next upgrade will be to a data device / pda phone vs the enV. i txt more than i talk on my phone so a full keyboard is a must but this thing is honky. "brick phone" as my friend calls it. maybe the Q? originally i purchased the phone to double as an mp3 player but i'm not looking to invest on a headphone adaptor. plus the mp3 player on the phone does not seem very intuitive to me.

just an idea of how to address the issue of not sitting flat on a desk...take a mouse pad, cut it down to whatever footprint you want, and then cut a hole where the camera is. i agree it was kind of an odd design choice

I wouldn't beleive more than 90% of the howardforum ppl. They just like to post. ha ha ha by the way. It's not on the verizon testsite, so i wouldn't stick with the dec 4 date.

just so you know the music essentials kit headset is made for the output on the 9900
