Icon when writing a text message?

I seem to notice a weird icon when writing text messages?

I'm not sure what it is and when I send myself a text message with the icon in it nothing shows up.

Any ideas on what it is? Anyone else seeing the same thing?

I figured out what it was.

my phone was sending the v card with every message.

turned it off and everything is back to normal.
