LG enV VX-9900

I just got my phone about 2 weeks ago and I pretty much figured out alot about it. I have read the instructions and everything. I even called Technicial Support and they failed to help me. So my question is how can I transfer files from Bluetooth Phones to one another or anything with Bluetooth such as a computer? I can't figure this out and I really been wanting to know so if someone could please help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Has anyone found one of these that will work with the 9900? I would only use it in an emergency, but I think it would be convenient to have.

Does anyone have a problem with other people hearing you during a conversation?

I've been having this problem since I pretty much brought the phone back in December, but I thought that's how the phone was, until someone told me that bad microphones are common out of the box.

People tell me that it kinda sounds like I'm holding my hand over the mic or something and/or my voice sounds muffled! Also, other people are sometimes not understanding what I'm saying. Several times in the convo, the person on the other end is constantly saying, "huh?", "what?!", etc. Keep in mind, that I have only dropped this phone once, but it was a minor drop, so that has nothing to do with it.

Has anyone had a problem with the little icon not going away after using this feature?

I have a motorola BT headset about 1 year old. I used it on my old SE phone to answer call waiting and it worked fine - just a quick click of the button.

when i try that on the enV, it hangs up my call.

any ideas?

1) When the battery is completely drained?
2) With the phone off or on?

Last night while working out I tried using the headphones (that came with my music essentails kit) with my phone to listen to the mp3 player but it made me hold the silver button on the headset down in order to keep the music going through the headphones. Is this right or is something wrong with my phone or headset? It just didnt seem right as I wasnt able to use weights in my hands because I was holdng down the headset button. Needless to say that didnt last long. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi I just got the enV and I am looking for the option where you're able to set your service area and can't seem to find it.

Every other phone I've had has had the option to set the phone to either "home area only", "roaming only" or "whichever signal is stronger" or similar options. It's usually under the tools/setup and then "phone options" however I do not see any such option on the phone nor have I found one in the manual.

Does anyone know how to change this setting on the enV? Thanks

it seems that the enV is not capable of resizing the 2 MP pictures for sending picture txt messages.

i do hope im doing something wrong b/c that just doesnt make sense.

even my last phone that was 2 years old would resize the 1.3 MP pics to 320x240, etc. for emailing and picture txt.

Is there a way to take a database from a cd and copy it to my enV? Its like an encyclopedia on cd-rom.

Is there anyway to send contacts from my Macbook address book to the enV? I've found a way to do it one contact at a time, but that's taking too long. Also, when I send it one by one, sometimes the phone number doesn't show up on the enV. It has created an entry for the person in my enV, but no phone number is saved. It will only properly include the phone number from my Macbook to the enV about 50% of the time. Isn't there a way that it will do it properly and I don't have to do it one by one?

Where is the MP3 Player? How do you activate it? I don't see it in the Secret Menu.

i think i have a prob with my battery. ill charge it up to a full charge and it will drop down to two bars pretty quick but then it will stay at that. is it a software problem on the phone or is it the battery? and if i had to replace the phone or battery will they let me? because i have accidentally dropped the phone already 😕 but its only a few tiny dents on the side would they still replace it?
