LG enV VX-9900

Are there any good sites out there w/ hacks/tricks for the enV?

I just need to know exactly what is needed to get music on this phone, what apps on the computer, what cords, what memory cards, etc. thanks

I configured my bluetooth and I can transfer my pics, videos, and sounds fine. The question is, how do I transfer my mp3s. When I go to my music and click "sync" it just says it can't connect and to check my connection. I don't know why it says that since I can still transfer my pics, videos, and sounds. Someone please help. Do you have to have a memory card in order to transfer? I only have one song stored on my phone's memory because I'm still waiting for my micro SD card to come in but I want to get the song to my computer. Again, someone please help 🙂

Sorry if this is a dumb question to some of you but what is bitpin? I hear a lot about it but I have never used it. If someone could give me a brief synopsis and a link to getting it that would be greatly appreciated. 😳

Have been tremendous for this phone, I love it...It really is a great phone, every day it surprises me more, the reception and evdo coverage here at my house blows me away.

Hello. I am using my H700 headset with the enV but people keep telling me that they can't hear me ever on it. Is there a good bluetooth headset out there that will work well with the phone. Also, has anyone heard of blueant headsets? Thanks

Aight, so I was going to get the 9800, but than heard about the 9900... So as of now, I'm set off to get the enV... But I have a couple of questions...

1.) Can I transfer files from my phone to my computer through Bluetooth?... Or do I have to pay Verizon a small fee to use this feature?

2.) How much internal memory does this phone have?

3.) Can I use flash while recording a video? The 9800 did not have this feature...

4.) What video files does this phone play? (ex. MP4, MPG...)

Is there a way to set the 9900 to be able to read mp3's much like the 9800 did through one of the service menus?

What are the optimum settings for immpgtoo? Is it better on the 9900 for 3gp or 3g2, and what particulars with settings? I have a 3g2 movie on there right now and I notice some weird frame skipping at about the half way mark.

since EnV has full keyboard. i want to use it all the way. what i really want is

task manager, to-do list.

And will soon be destroyed finally! My card reader was screwing up the data on the way to the phone! I can now finally listen to music and have put two full length movies on my 1 gig card! It's working great, so if you have troubles don't discount the card reader! BTW, be sure to get one that takes the micro or mini straight through instead of using a sd sleeve, as I think that could aleveate potential probelms with this phone.

Yep, the old card reader which has given me at least 4 months of misery will be soon heading up to the gun range to get a taste of a huge bullet. It's going to be great! 😛 😁 😈 👿

Is it just me or does the travel charger (the charger that comes with the phone) only go in about half way. All my other travel chargers would either "click" into place or at least feel somewhat secure when charging.

Is the software that comes with the Music Essentials Kit of any use?

Some of your cons in your review are easily fixable. The keyguard? just change the settings. Assigning ringtones for contacts? Easy, you're either doing it wrong or your phone has a glitch. Reception? must be your area because my 9900 has better reception than any verizon phone I have had.

I just would like to know what I need to get the full potential music wise out of my enV?? Example: memory, headsets, software, etc. what would i need? 🙂

My contract is up in March and I'm most likely getting this phone. I have the LG V right now and you cannot make sounds, recorded sounds, or the sounds you send in texts as ringtones. My boyfriend has the LG VX8300 and he can make those sounds ringtones. What I would like to know is if this phone can do it as well? I know his phone came out after mine did, so I was hoping that maybe they put that feature on the EnV as well. Thanks ahead of time for the replies.

the only thing that really bothers me about this phone is the lens cover from the phone. dont get me wrong its a great idea but seems like it was built bad and very week. it seems like after a couple of months of using the lens cover it wont even work anymore.

I created a playlist on the phone and then found it using bitpim and appeared to be *.vpl . Does anyone know if this is the only type of playlist the phone supports?

how do i turnoff the automatic keyguard on the phone?

I wish there was a way for me to get this phone now, without having to pay retail. At the end of February, I will have one year in and will be able to get this phone at the promotional price with a new two year contract. I just wish I didn't have to wait that long. I am not about to pay retail.
