yes it is that feature is not on this phone. don't ask me why but it's just a very odd thing to decide to drop on LGs part.

what about different ringtones for text mess or voicemail than ringer tone?

you can't assign different ringtones to different people sending text messages to you. You can use any ringtone you want for voicemail but you can only choose one. You can't set different voicemail ringers for different callers.
