lg 8600 --masculine??
Well, the pictures of this phone make it look like a very masculine looking phone. I looked at it in the store and it looked much different.
Is this phone more for the males with cell phones?
How about the chocolate (any color). Is that more of a phone for kids/teens?

The only way I'd say a phone looks more feminine or masuline is if it were pink or adorned with sports graphics!

I really like the chocolate but I just know myself. I'd never get used to that touch screen. I was just looking at the 8600 yesterday and liked it. Just didn't know if it was too masculine for me. Currently own the Q , it gets great reception, but I don't use the other stuff on it so it's a waste. PLUS< I'm always worried that it's accidentally going to go to internet and I don't have a data plan.
You said you had the 8600?? Why did you get rid of it (if you don't mind me asking)? How was the speakerphone? I've heard not so good.

I have the phone and im a female. The other person said it best, it can only look like a certain gender would have it if its decorated a certain way. As for the speaker phone IT SUCKS! Its extremely low, no point of having it. But the music quality is perfect. I used to have the Razor so i was pretty annoyed about the speaker phone on this phone. First i got the chocolate but than exchanged it bc the buttons were too small to text and the sensors werent working properly. Hope this helps. 🙂

I'm a girl.. I love this phone. Yes, the speakerphone volume sucks. It's strange cause the ring and mp3 volumes are fine. So I don't use the speakerphone, I use a bluetooth headset.
I don't like the chocolate cause it's a slider. I prefer my the buttons under a flip. Even the few buttons that the 8600 has on the outside are annoying. I wouldn't mind being able to disable them.
