worst phone i have owned
this phone is seriously the weakest phone i have owned. you drop it two feet and the screen quits working. it freezes constantly and can only fit 50 text messages in the inbox and 50 in the outbox. i had the VX-8800 before this and sadly, i would have rather kept that one. Verizon wireless is a bunch of idiots too. they even admitted to me that they were suprised it didnt take a crap within the first year, and that it wasnt exchanged under that warranty. great phone huh?

LG enV
I think the most important feature of a cell phone is that is should just be a great phone. This phone is that! While I am having a hard time adjusting to the size and bulkiness of this phone, it is a fabulous phone! Great reception, great call strength, fabulous sound, crystal clear calls, etc... It is durable, the camera is amazing! Takes pictures that are almost as good as my digital camera!! My only complaints are the size (but then I am used to using a clamshell type cell phone), the speaker-phone only works when open, and for being a "text friendly" phone, it does not have the little 'quick-text' cartoon characters that are on a lot of phones (the little "flirty" guy, the "wow" guy, the "sad" guy, the "kissing" guy, the "angry" guy, etc...) I really miss them!! :>( But overall, it is probably the best phone I have found that is actually a great "phone", plus it has the "bells and whistles"!

From V to enV
This phone was an upgrade for me from the "V" (9800). I loved that phone, but had gripes with the bulk, overall styling, and camera. I also hated the mandatory Verizon menu system, which I felt was ugly and not very streamlined.
The enV has addressed all of my issues in what is the best phone I have ever owned (and I have owned many, many phones). Everything about the enV is superior to the V - except maybe for the outgoing sound quality, which I have had some people tell me isn't as good as with the V (you'd think that would be the most important factor, considering the main user for a phone - but the sound good enough not to be an issue for me).
The only real gripe I have is with the enV button, which seems a little less customizable than the function button on the V.
The phone is quite a bit thinner than the V was - enough so that I sometimes have a hard time holding onto it when using the QWERTY keyboard, but that is more than made up for by the fact that the phone is less bulky overall.
The Venus and Voyager may have stepped up to replace the enV as the best non-smartphone options from Verizon (although I haven't tried them to know for sure), but I love the enV.

LG enV
I will def. not give this phone a 5. I have had it since early July 2007 and have found it to be not one of my better phones I've had.
I'll start with the pros anyway:
Pros:
Awesome Pictures (looks as if taken with a real camera)
Like how you can take videos for an unlimited amount of time!
Love the ability to text (KEYBOARD!!)
I basically agree with all the other reviews
but....
CONS!!
I downloaded the new version of AIM, and my phone keeps freezing on me;
It shuts off, then turns back on, or just stays off
A blue screen comes up sometimes
I have to take the battery off at least once a day, which is making my battery holder lose
The phone keeps screwing up...and I'm really starting to dislike this phone
I'm bringing it in today to get a replacement
For all those thinking about getting this phone, I'd search for a much better phone first, then if you find that you like this phone better....make sure you get insurance on it..only $5 a month

All in all, a great little device!:]
I have had this phone for about a year and a half. It is the most steardy phone i have ever used. I have dropped it on concreat countless times and it even soaked in water for about an hour and still, its fine!! It works great. It looks a little banged up but it works like i got it yesterday. I recommend it to anyone who is a bit clumsy. :] I asure you it wont break from a drop here and there.
Pros-
-Very steardy
-Great camera phone wise
-Full qwarty keyboard is awsome for txt and im
-Wonderful inside screen
-Pretty good battery life for what it can do.
-there are many more just can't think of them all
Cons-
-The charger breaks quite easily and i have to pretty much sit there and charge the phone because of the charger. If however i got a new charger, this phone would have almost no flaws. :]

amazing
this phone is simply amazing. I have zero cons with it. I just got it a couple hours ago coming from a u740. The 740 was good, but this is top of the line. Everything on this is better and easy to use. Seriously just get this phone. I got it for 79.

Very nice
Not bad this a nice phone everything works beautiful only two things that need to be addressed :music in the background should be available on this phone mobile web browser needs an update.

What are you talking about?
I recently became a Verizon Customer, not even by choice. By boyfriend started working for them and decided to get me a phone. So he got me an EnV.
And I LOVE IT!!!
Pros
-Good Reception
-Great Style-love the flip and Qwerty.
-AND IT IS NOT BULKY. Ive been reading a lot of posts and it is not a bulky phone, of course it is going to be a little bigger that like a m300.
-camera is amazing
-sound quality is great, never had a problem
-easy to use
-automatically locks
-Video feature is great quality
-screens are very crisp and clear.
Cons
-The only thing that bothers me is the speaker phone will only work if the phone is open.
But all together this is an amazing phone, and not just for text. If you use navigation this phone will be helpful because of the inside screen.
