Great Phone, but Falsely Advertised
There is a feature advertised on the website's "flash demo" for the VI600,
wherein you can speak the DIGITS of the phone number into the phone to make a call. It did not work, and nothing is
mentioned about it in the user manual (online or hard copy). I have spoken with several customer service reps who all concur that this is not available on this phone. That feature was a major reason for my selecting both this phone and the Sprint service, and no one is available to address this problem internally.
Other than that, the phone works great in every other pertinent regard. The other Voice service, wherein you can record a voice tag for the people in your address book, works fine.

Not happy
PROS:
I like this phone for its size and features. Sound quality is excellent when a good signal is available. The phone book is very well layed out.
CONS:
There are two major problems with this phone that would keep me from buying it again. It is nearly impossible to see the display when the back light is not on. The button on the phone that sticks out the farthest just happens to be the button that connects to the web. One click and your surfing. Not very handy when you keep it in your pocket. You can use the net guard mode, all though that only delays the connection process to two clicks of the button. It would be great if you could reprogram this button or disable the web feature all together but so far I have not found a way. The only way to assure no pocket surfing is to use the key guard.
