Sweet
I upgrade to new technology any chance I get. I'll get right to it, short & sweet.
PROS:
- Great Battery Life
- Great Reception
- Calendar & Features are Great
- Perfect Size Phone
- Vibrant Colors
- 2 Meg Camera with Auto Focus - Really Nice
....I can go on & on
CONS:
- Very Little "Nit-Picking" here
- That little "thingy" hangs when charging
- Outside Key Pad doesn't light up when ringing & in the dark you can't see "send" button to answer
- & the LG Classic; can't close phone on speaker mode
Hey you can't have it all but this one comes really, really close
LG has the best phones on the market & this one is the best model out there. Absolutely NO disappointments getting this one, unless you are a real baby & complainer

One of the best!
I've had this phone for a few months now. So i can accurately give a good description. here it goes:
Pros:
Great Camera
Good Sound (with or without bluetooth)
Loud Ringer
Great Responsive keypad
no dropped calls
Cons:
Battery Life could be better on the standard size battery but with the extended life it's great.
Every once in a while the phone will stay stuck when ending a call but if u open and close it the call timer will go away.

Envious??
Great phone. Close to perfect but not quite there yet.
Pros:
QWERTY Keyboard
Both bar style and flip style all in one phone.
Easy Navigation with either default theme.
Battery life is good for me(I don't use my phone like a maniac though).
Great reception. Only 1 dropped call in the first 4 weeks I have owned it. Youngstown, OH
Memory card slot.
2MP camera with lens cover.
Cons:
Dumb looking and dumb placement on the email button.
The tabs for the charger port and the memory card slot feel as if they wont last more than 2 months before they fall off.
Cant have custom tones for sms for individual contacts.
Believe me the PROS on this phone far out weigh the CONS. This is a great phone IMO.

Yep...I agree...Best Phone!!
I agree with the latest reviews I have read. It's simply the best phone. I love it and recommend it. It will be hard to move on to another phone I think...

ppppuuuurrrrfffeeecccttt fone ever!
best fone ever invented. thank you verizon wireless!
PROS:: purfect keyboard, nice ringtones, great reception, fast network, easy to manage.
CONS:: nothing that i can think of!

Had to trim it down a bit but heres my review
Dislikes First!!!
We should have a dedicated web key... Now im new to verizon so im sure its probably been like this for sometime... If you close the web and open it back up the page that you was last at is gone because the only web buttons we have is programmed to take you to either news and info or the e-mail page...
If you don't know what I mean say your reading something on Espn's page and you want to go send your friend a text message about Dwayne Wade scoring 50 or something... If you close or end your browser you can't go back to that page....
Also the e-mail button should be able to be changed if someone doesn't want to do the wireless sync... I don't mind using the web to send my e-mails I would like for that button to take me to either verizon's mail page or to a e-mail page that I like...
The contacts, should of been done differently, I don't know too many people with two mobile phone numbers... That should of been either an other number or work2 number... Same with the e-mail most people I know just use one e-mail...
The only other small annoying things that they could of done is that if your writing a text message after you enter a period, question mark, or exclamation point it should make the next letter capitalized...
Likes!!!
Readout feature is a plus like the fact that your phone can read your message to you after you receive it... That's really convenient for the person who is driving with a headset or just laying down to have your message read outloud...
The camera is great I use to carry my digital camera around all the time but I don't think im going to have to anymore once I get a nice memory card for this phone, 2.0 camera on a phone is the best I have seen so far... Heard there is a 3.0 one but this is good for me....
Service is better then my nextel phone and so far havent had any dropped calls...
I also like the fact that I can drop files right into my phone wirelessly via bluetooth whether its a ringer or wallpaper thats nice...

great improvements for me
Thinner than the 9800, lighter as well.
2 megapixel camera with a lens cover is cool for me, someone who likes sending picture messages. Let's not forget the video mode, this thing can record for up to an hour, no more of this 20 second garbage...to me this is huge. Not to mention that microSD is much more common in my experience than miniSD cards, so the change is for the better.
I'm not a big fan of using my phone for the net, so that's no big deal, I don't use that anyway. I do however text all day to my friends since we can't talk at work, so like I stated ealier, the improved camera and video camera are great additions to the the keyboard.
Sure, you give up a little screen size for a thinner, lighter phone, but I'll take it, it's not much smaller. I love this phone more than the 9800.

enV 9900
First off this is a great phone! If you like to text this is definately the phone for you!
Pros:
-2.0mp camera w/flash
-Bluetooth which also allows stereo bluetooth headset!
-Great main screen
-Talk time 4+ hours with standard battery
-Doesnt freeze up like any of the moto's
-Text to speech is a great tool to impress your friends
-Speakerphone is clear and crisp
-Signal is great!
Cons:
-Outer screen is a little smaller then I would like
-Cannot use speakerphone while clamshell is closed
-Cover for charge port is a little on the flimsy side
-Email button
The pro's greatly outweigh the cons so if you are deciding on a great overall phone I would pick this one up!
If you have your heartset on a flip phone though I would recommend the 8600!

People are enV-ious
I am a bit of a phone whore and this by far is the best phone I've own so far ... not comparing to the PDAs.
PROS:
-UI is awecome
-2.0mp camera - clarity is terrific
-Video quality is also great
-Full keyboard makes text messaging/IMing a breeze
-Battery life on this baby is by far amazing
-Stereo speakers are loud ... great for music
-Short-Cuts keys can be customize
-Sound quality is great
-Reception is better than 8100, which I owned prior to the enV
-Amazingly beautiful main screen
-Style & form (extremely light yet feels solid)
CONS:
-Front screen is tiny
-no speakerphone option when phone is closed
-auto focus on camera is very slow
-email button is uneccessary unless you want to pay $20/month to sync it
Strongly recommended for a text messaging guru .. also to someone who wants great picture & sound quality.

No sophmore slump here...
This phone has set the bar extremely high for not only vzw, but for all other carriers out there. Reception, battery life, screens(inside not out), the list goes on and on. Most of you have touched on everything else, so why beat a dead horse. Most if not all the negative reviews, are from people who wish they had one, or from other carriers. This phone "IS" a 5/5.
