When will the launch? Coverage in my home is terrible. Alltel, VZW and ATT are fine even in the basement.

A Good Review 4 The Instinct!

Phonearena.com seems to got their hands on an Instinct and here is there review. Looks like the Phonescoop.com device might have been a dud.

But even afterwards, they still prefer the iPhone just as Rich and Eric. Just goes to show that the iPhone leaves a hell of an impression on people even with its faults so I think it is time that Sprint fanboys accept the verdict, enjoy their great device, and move on 🙂

Advantage Club

Is it true that if I just got hired on 06-05-08 that I have to wait until migrations re-opens next April to bring my second sprint phone over to my Advantage Club? That is what I was told when I called and had My main phone switched to EDRP. My manager is new to his position so he isn't sure, but another manager said that doesn't sound right for new hires to have to wait if we just started. Thanks in advance.

Sprint advertise please!!!

I am wondering why Sprint does not get it sometimes. They have one of the most dissapointing advertising campaigns known to man. They just dont understand. I have seen plent of Verizon commercials for various phone and plan options but none for the Instinct. I know somebody will repsond and say that I am wrong. I might agree with that to a point. I know there have been some adds for this phone. My point is that it is not enough. Sprint does not get it. It has been a known fact that Sprints customer service is the worst in the business, and maybe the worst of any industry. Sprint has had this reputation for years and has done little to improve it. Like I said they just dont get it. We all know what need to be done but not the guys making six ...

Compare Sprint and Verizon Coverage Maps

If you go and compare the maps on the company websites Sprint has very little footprint across America, but a lot of roaming. And in most of those areas they roam on Sprint or another CDMA carrier US celluar or Alltel (which by the end of the year is Verizon). Now the reason that Sprint wants to cancel people who roam frequently is that those roaming agreements are more expensive then if you where making calls on there network. Unfortunately, the Sprint network is sparse compared to Verizon and they never fully developed their own network. That is one reason among many that there churn numbers are so high. Furthermore, when you look at the data coverage maps you find the same thing. Which means many of your advance services while roaming lik...

EV-DO on Rumor?????

I had heard that there wasa hack/rom/crack out that would enable the Rumor for EV-DO. does anyone know anything about that at all?

I know the Rumor is set up as a 1X device. but is it hardware or firmware that determines that in the rumor?

Need more Non-PDA Qwerty Phones...

...that are EVDO capable. I am currently with Helio and from what I've read, they are about to go under so by the end of the year I will probably have to switch to another carrier. 🙄 Right now I am trying to decide between VZW and Sprint. I love Sprint plans BUT VZW has the phone I want...EnV2. I don't like the Rumor. For one its not EVDO...its 1x. Second, the paint rubs off the buttons??? Whats up with that? Third, it doesn't come in pink but I do like the green. Im really not trying to diss but I just feel that Sprint needs more non PDA qwerty phones. Not everyone wants or needs a smartphone.

Sprint or Verizon?: I might just stay on America's most reliable network

Two weeks ago I went into a Sprint store to check out the Blackberry Curve 8330 and maybe switch from Verizon to Sprint. However, they had no curves in stock. The sales representative took my name and number and said she would call me when they received a new shipment. I still haven't heard from that representative and probably never will so I decided to call Sprint customer service. After going through layers of menus I finally got a live person in a foreign country (choppy English, etc sounded like India) and she didn't understand what I wanted. Finally, she got it and put me on hold to find out. Next thing I know I hear clicks and I am listening to "if you want to make a call please hang up and dial again", disconnected. So I call back ag...

Need Some Advice......

I have had Sprint for about four years now, I dont call in to cst. service, i dnt b!tch about my bill, I get dropped calls sometimes (signal fade) but hey, sometimes it hpns. I pay my bill sometimes on time. Out of the 4 years or so, its been shut off once. But anyway, so the Samsung Instinct is about to come out, and Im not eligible to upgrade until January '09. I would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOVE to upgrade and get it, and change my plan to the $70 plan (450 mins plus unlimited everything) or even the Simply Everything plan. But I dnt knw if cst. service or someone at the store would let me. I really dont mind signing another contract, but what should I do, or go about it??? Thanx in advance, any advice would b of GREAT HELP!! 😉
