Instinct Text Message Landscape Default

Apparently when you write a text message it automatically defaults to landscape mode and no way to select portrait as default, why is this?

Reps who have had access to the Instinct

What are your opinions on the flow of the OS? I got to play with one the other day, and I thought that it worked amazingly. I am glad that Samsung outsourced for the OS with what I got to see in the 10 minutes I played with it.

i think they should make a tv ad like this.

moses is walking through the desert with tons of people behid him. they get to the red sea. moses stops and holds his arms open to part the sea, and nothing happens. he looks back at everyone and they still waiting. he turns back and trys again. again, nothing happens. then he gets an idea. he gets out his nextel ( or new qchat phone ) walkie talkies god and says "can i get alittle help?" then he puts it away and puts his arms out again and the red sea parts and off moses and the people go. and at the end it could say something like thats how moses gets things done with sprint.

if someone runs with this i would die laughing. (and if someone does i would like some credit) thats what i think sprint is lacking, those catchy ads that everyon...

Verizon+Alltel=TheFurtherDemiseofSprint

I've always been a big fan of Sprint, but I can't imagine that Verizon and Alltel together would be a good thing for Sprint. ☚ī¸

bad feeling

I have this "instinct" (no pun intended, really.) that the release of the Instinct will be dulled by the iPhone 2 this month. I hope not. We're not getting the Instinct till August but man o' man I'm worried about this one.

How bad IS sprint doing right now, out of curiosity? I think it's overhyped, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone noticed?

Has anyone noticed that people are being fully qualified for upgrades even after a few months of upgrading?

I've been checking up on a few of my activations from earlier and have been seeing this a lot. Weird, but cool.

Possible Sprint Buyout by Verizon

anyone think that verizon will purchase sprint. it seems like sprint is the only cdma carrier standing in the way of verizons total domination. Look at it logically, helio, virgin mobile, and most other cdma mvno's go threw sprint. So to eliminate all competion they buy sprint and have cornered the market. also as soon as verizon bought alltell there is talks of our roaming rates getting doubled? maybe thats another step to put sprint out of the way and into a serious hurt. What do you think. Believe me i love sprint, but it just seems like at this point why wouldnt they.

total frustration

an alleged supervisor just stated to another rep that we could have the $10 sms unl code on an individual line on a family power pack plan I tried to explain to the rep that ensemble is not setup to accept anything less than $15 especially at the 550 plan which is what the customer had, however the rep got mad at me for not agreeing with the manager to which i said " your manager is an idiot and doesn't take calls you need to look it up in kms"

to which she got more mad because she was lazy and didn't want to search it

this is why people hate sprint...

Iphone vs. Instinct

Sprint released its new samsung instinct to some of its reps over the weekend and i want to know how everyone compares it to the iphone. the only difference seems to be that it has faster data services and navigation, but the sdk for the iphone makes it versatile.
