I know that I had seen this somewhere but cannot remember where. If a phone were to get wet, the battery area turns either pink or white color. ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER???

Typically the battery indicator turns either red or pink- with little or no white showing. I hope that helps.

Different phones/batteries are different. Some have red or pink lines/marks that dissappear when wet, others have white that turn color when wet. So, it depends on which one you have.

Lg's have a dark spot that gets lighter and pinker depending on how much water it got on it. Kyocera has a checkerboard pattern that will bleed red, then disolve completely. Motos don't have a water indicator on the battery, do they? Nokia doesn't either, I don't think.

This phone IS, in fact ,a MOTOROLA E815. It's a shame . So, I dried it out last night all night but it's still red. No hope??? Phone is garbage now??? Person never said anything about it getting wet, just said it stopped charging. Donl't know what to do ....not due for renewal for 1 1/2 years.

Well, got the phone open and took a look. YUP! The indicator on the back of the phone (not on the battery--that one is still white) is RED!! NO white showing .

Why would that turn red and NOT the battery indicator? Person says it doesn't charge. They NEVER said it got wet?!?!?!
