I currently have the equipment protection plan and the LG VX-9400. I dropped the phone and now the rotation is very loose. Kind of getting sick of this phone and want something different. Any Customer Care people out there know if I would be able to swap out for the Moto SLVR when I go to get a replacement??

No it doesn't work that way, you'll will get another 9400 unless they didn't have any which wont be the case.

Yeah i kinda figured that was the case. No chance of paying a difference or anything like that is there? Maybe if I complain enough and do the whole retention thing? 😉

I love LG. You wont find a better manufacturer...except sanyo for sprint 😉 but im just getting bored with the 9400. The concept was cool and still is, im just bored with it. I REALLY want a BB Pearl but that wont happen with VZW anytime soon. So i was looking for something with a similar feel to it.

LG is amazing and i loved the concept at first but im tired of it. any suggestions? ebay is an option i guess, but any other options?

Also, you're not going to "go get a replacement". Insurance requires a call to the insurance company that then sends you the replacement. Verizon has nothing to do with it.

yeah, i am aware of the process but didnt know the details. i was just wondering if there were a way to get a different phone. No big deal, i didnt think that i would be able to do it. Unless you know a secret that you would like to share with another wireless employee 😉
