Missed call indicator
Is anyone aware of a Verizon phone, preferably a clamshell, that has some kind of an indicator light that would alert me to a missed call, voicemail, etc., without having to pick up and flip open the phone, or activate the backlight?

Any Verizon phone that uses the Verizon user interface can be set to beep or vibrate every 2 minutes if a voicemail is left. There is no reminder for just a missed call, the caller needs to leave a voicemail message.

My XV6800 has notifications for missed calls whether or not a VM is left.
Choices are to play a sound, message on screen, flash light, and vibrate.
I have the opposite problem. I want to turn off the damn lights...really annoying at night while driving. I have the phone in the cup holder facing me so I can see who calls, and the constant blinking blue and green lights are OBNOXIOUS. Yes, I have turned off the settings for all items in Sounds & Notifications related to flashing the light.
