New RAZR V3M Software

I was in a VZW corporate store yesterday and noticed that the software on the RAZR V3M has been changed. The functionality is now just like the software in the W385 and the KRZR K1M. The ring styles can no longer be changed with the phone closed by using the smartkeys on the left side of the phone. Why is Verizon removing this Motorola trademark of being able to change the ring style without opening the phone??? The US Cellular versions of all of these phones still operate normally, with the ability to change the ring style with the phone closed, and also the true Motorola software that allows you to have a different ringtone and volume setting for each of the ring styles. In my opinion, Verizon is VERY WRONG in doing this.

Anyone ...

new vzw indirect myspace group

just started a new myspace group for vzw indirect sales reps. I figured it would be another way to talk about work and network.

Dial up Networking and VPack

Do you still need BroadbandAccess Connect if you have VPack?

What is the difference between these "Unlimited Data" plans? I have the Motorola V3c, Ve and V9m, all of which include DUN in the phone feature set.

Battery Conditioning

I've received many calls of customers with activations. Upon activation, customers always ask me if they have to use up all the life of the battery then fully charge it or if they fully charge it first then use it all up to get the best battery life. I just tell them to charge the battery fully then they can use the device normally. Any suggestions out there on what I should tell my customers?..

Thanks,

Customer Service-10, Service-Questionable

has anyone had a problem with people calling them on verizon and getting a "disconnected" service message? Customer Service said there is nothing is wrong with my account, and every time they trouble shoot it, the disconnect message doesn't come up its just every so often. Anyone else have this issue?

Can the HTC TOUCH be used on Verizon?

Can the touch be used and if so how? Why does verizon not have this phone. Its really nice and would be competitive with the IPhone. The Voyager is a joke compare to this phone

2008

What's up everyone. What can we expect to see in 2008 from VZW. I went to ATT b/c of "iPhone Syndrome" but ATT is still ATT when it comes to service. So, what's in the works for the New Year?

Sprint Verizon ???????

Just asking.....I have been a loyal Verizon customer for 13 years. However I love really hiTech phones but with out good service. Well its a paper weight. So Sprint has this deal in the Bay Area here in California. Unlimited talk time, Unlimited text and pics, Unlimited Data, No roaming charges thats for the Phone also Included is an air car for a pc and it is also Unlimited data.........the total monthly charge for the Air card(unlimited data) and the Phone and data service (unlimited) is $149.00 a month. The phone I have been using for the past few days is the TOUCH and its amazing.

? Sprint tells me I use Verizon towers if I dont have a sprint signal. If that true then Sprint service would be just as good as Verizon ??????? Yes or No

looking for a phone with the best bang for the buck. preferably less bucks.

Hi all,

I just switched to Verizon yesterday (T-mobile's reception was awful in my area), and picked up a Samsung u540. However I'm not totally happy with parts of it.

1. The very limited and crappy ringtone selection. I can live with most other things but if I have to hear the same crappy ring all the time....I know there are obviously ways to overcome this but I really don't want to pay more.
2. Inability to transfer files through Bluetooth. File Transfer would of course take preference over ringtones, since then, you might as well transfer ringtones.
3. Fragile feel, flat keypad, flashy touch buttons on top and how it turns the outer screen off until you open it again. I want a phone that feels like a phone, and that I can check t...
