Question about the 30 day return policy

I picked up the XV6800 today, and after using it for a little while, I don't think it's something that I'm going to enjoy. I plan on testing it for a few more days, and returning it if I don't feel comfortable with it.

My question is two-fold. First, if I return it and go to a cheaper, non-smart phone, will the money difference be returned to my account, or am I going to end up with some odd store-credit?

Secondly, if I trade my phone in, does this take away from the person that sold me the phone? The salesperson that helped me was excellent, and I'd hate to see her lose some of the commission she made if I switch phones.

the credit would be applied to your credit card if you paid with one (at least in a corportae store)

the sales rep will still get creit for the new line or upgrade as long as you do not cancel.

If you bought at an authorized agent, you would be able to charge your card back, and if you paid cash, would recieve a check with the difference in the mail.

Also, the new person would most likely get the new sale, the first person would lose their commission.

Thank you for thinking of the rep you established a relationship with

Exchange it with them to make sure nothing funny happens... they will appreciate it

It's all good now, after using the phone for a couple of days I've grown to enjoy it, so I'll be keeping it. Thanks for the answers though.
