My phone rings for less than 2 seconds, then says one missed call.
i have the 9800 and for some reason it rings for less than two seconds then beeps alerting one missed call. why does my phone ring so late??? has anyone else have this problem??

call delivery could be off in the switch. Call customer care 1-800-922-0204 and select option 0 and then option 1 from a phone other then your cell phone. Explain to the tech and have them check the switch settings. This is usually a switch problem.

Before doing the above, try to hard reset your phone. When call delivery is off it usually doesn't ring at all. Hard reset is pulling the battery out when it is still turned on. Then make a test call to the phone. A huge amount if problems are fixed with a hard reset.
