The New Every 2 you need to use at a VZW store, call customer service or better yet, use vzw.com as most mail in rebates are instant online.
You will notice the website will sometimes offer free accessories (bluetooth headset) or have discounted bundles on them otherwise. That is usually true that the website will offer deals not found at the corporate stores, or even resellers. This is for Rob, the original poster of this thread; Best Buy doesn't allow the NE2 at their stores. Also in many markets, they charge at least $50 more for an upgrade. They offer the best deals to new customers than they do for upgrades. Best Buy didn't care that my mom got a better deal from the corporate store. They told her that she had to pay their price if she wanted it from them. She tried to get her Nokia from them, but got rude with her and told her that the price they charged was for new subscribers to VZW. When I told her to go to Circuit City, she got her phone for free with the NE2. So a reseller like Best Buy is ...

new every 2 is only through direct channels. i.e. actual vzw stores. vzw corp, circut city, bj's wholesale. but not best buy, wal-mart, or any other 3rd party associate.
