I have used it allot this winter and it has been great to have, but yes I still use my 8300 as my primary, later when summer hits I will use it allot more during my hiking trips 🙂

This is good to hear. I've only talked to one customer that had one and he was having severe reception issues. It would fluctuate from full to 1 bar of signal whenever he made a call or turned the phone the wrong direction.

How has your experience been with the phone's reception?

ps This is a serious question, really.

I have not had any reception issues with mine at all, its easily on par with my 8300 which has great RF 🙂

I would also like to add that I have used it during high winds and rain and the voice quality still comes in loud and clear!
