The New Cingular Runaround
I just got off one of those calls where all you do for 45 mins is call cingular trying to get somebody to get there head out of there ass and take a call. Is it so hard to check someones account?

It is when they have such tight call restrictions on them + the other crazy strict rules they have placed on them.

Heaven forbid also that management would actually sit down with a rep and find out that the PAR report (which causes said runarounds) does nothing more than frustrate both customers and reps alike. There's no focus on customer service now, ONLY on being available for calls or taking a call that actually routed properly, that way the company makes more money and the VPs and Stanley can gorge on more profit sharing!

Not really off topic but i do agree that everything is stat drivin, not customer service drvin. at least AT&T like our custs

We should do an Exodus... see what the company does (both Convergys and Cingular) to try and get us back. Where's Moses when you need 'im?
Then again, they will probably just hire those poor unsuspecting victims that think working for Convergys is a lax job where you get paid good bucks while sitting on your bum.
