Analog, 2G, 3G, LTE

I believe all of the analog is shut off. When is the 2G network scheduled to be shut off?

^ They would need to have a fully functional LTE network nationwide and have at least one contract cycle go through to allow people to switch to LTE (there would need to be a cheap phone out there for the stragglers too)

And even then they might keep the network around as a backup should the LTE towers go down/get overloaded.

Overloaded? Isn't LTE suppose to have a whole heck of a lot more capacity?

yes it will. But who knows how that capacity will be used?

I'm just saying they may keep the network as a backup, not that it will be needed.
