Is it comin out with cingular or no??? i asked my sales rep for cingular and she said i dunno

I would say yes, because it will replace the 6230 but as for when, those things are always up in the air.

The 6230i will not be available for Cingular...it supports the 900/1900 bands. In order for Cingular to carry the phone, the 900 will have to be made to work with the 850/1900 bands. If the 6230i comes to america with the 900/1900 bands, the only company that will more than likely carry it will be T-Mobile.

But think of how often a phone is listed with a given set of frequencies, and is changed. It wouldn't surprise me either way. I guess we won't know until it's officially announced- no point in guessing about what may be changed anyway.

Information DOES change...last I looked, which was when phonescoop first posted the phone. It was tri-band with 900/1800/1900...sorry for the bad information.
