Moto V551 Problem? Someone fill me in!!!
I have heard there is some sort of problem with this phone and there is some sort of update available for it. I have this phone and I am not sure if I need this update. Can someone be kind enough to explain the problem & solution to fix it so I can know if I need to get the phone fixed? Thank you and sorry if this has been explained already. If you are not having problems with it then its fine. What people are reffering to is one of the batches that was sent out had an old firmware that caused some issues. such as dropped calls and connection problems. that has been resolved. if you do have an older model. Then you can get it replaced. However once again if you dont have problems then dont worry about it. I have an older v551 and i went and adjusted some settings myself and it works great. One thing to make sure so that you dont have issues is to make sure cingular has the proper IMEI on your account for the phone. That way you are insured to get the proper updates. 🙂
