Cingular people (employees that is) GET A CLUE, ride your managers a**** like a bull! What sense did it make to buy AT&T if you're a year or so later, slide back to NUM #2!!!!! I'm starting to get real tired of this "Verizon sh**"!!!!!!! Either put forth a REAL EFFORT to harass your managers or just quit and let Verizon do what it already is trying to do! Anyway, this is a repost in response to T-mobile almost kicked Cingulars BUTT!!!! P.S. I dont want any warm and fuzzy bull**** post about what Cingular is planning or how it's going to be okay! Without further ado her is the repost (I WANT ACTION!!!!!!! Yes I'm upset about Cingular not having Ringback tones VERY upset! However, I'm not writing these threads out of pessimism but out of opt...

Ringback tones? Who really cares about that !!!????? DO I really want to hear somebody else's' idea of music when I call them? NOT! I would rather hear that comforting ring.

I don't think ring back is going to save Cingular. I don't think anything can save Cingular. I have both Ciingular and Verizon service.

Verizon has nicer better looking stoes. More professional people. Way Less turnover.

Too bad their phones are not as flexible as Cingulars. Too bad they have no SIM cards with with to switch from phone to phone.
There are a lot of"too bads" but they still dominate for one reason only:

Verizon has happier employees and that makes ALL the difference in the world,

My managers don't have anything to do with Cingular. We're sales. If Cingular goes away, we'll sell something else.

You're right though, Cingular does need better gimmicks. What I consider a gimmick is broad and grand statements that fly up on advertisements but then have small print on the bottom. Our unlimited mobile to mobile was one. Thousands of people assumed their plan had mobile to mobile, when the statement clearly said "on qualifying rate plans."

Here are some good gimmicks which do their job by bringing in the people who don't read fine print.

Buy one Get one FREE! after mail in rebate.
Unlimited photo sharing! within the National Enhanced service area map.
Free incoming Calls! ...

while at the same time Cingular was giving unlimited NW

seriously, ringback? regardless, it's already at the end of the pipes and we have an LG here to test the P2Talk and it has the ringback set on it as well. I dont think cingular has much to worry about, except for convertind at&t custs over to cingular and explain the full details of the deal, cuz cingular gets a bad rap from it all.

Cingular expelled from BBB for too many complaints

WASHINGTON-Cingular Wireless L.L.C. has been expelled from the Better
Business Bureau of Upstate New York, according to a report in a Rochester,
N.Y., newspaper. The nation's largest wireless carrier acknowledged the
situation.
"We take all customer complaints very seriously, and we're working
diligently to address the concerns brought to our attention by the BBB of
Upstate NY. We want to set this right," said Rochelle Cohen, Cingular
spokeswoman. "We will be meeting with BBB representatives today to address
any outstanding issues they may have, and we will apply for reinstatement
as soon as possible....

OOOOOOOLD news, but since you've brought it up...

What good does the BBB do anyway? Thirty years ago it used to mean something. People who cared about their products and service would shop at places with a high BBB rating. Now people go where ever they get the cheapest whatever they want. Small rant (Customer loyalty is non-existant, and if they don't care why should the salesmen? They could help someone with all of their problems on their failing merchandise, and the consumer would still buy their goods from whomever offers it for the cheapest. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? How in the HELL can the BBB find 20 people out of 50,000,000 customers to be significant?!? You know what those 20 complaints probably are: "internet said I could get a free RAZR and finish my labotomy", "How come I get bad signal with my cheap a$$ free phone?", "What do you mean I have to buy a new phone because its my fault that I ran over my phone?" Go investigate real matters BBB and stopnit picking on little, meaningless, insignificant WHINNERS!!! YOU, dear BBB, are empowering the morons that cause employees to go postal! THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT!!!

😡 You sound like one of those sillya** area managers in a callcenter. Fact is when some of these sales people, especially SBC reps stop lying to these customers about their first bill, free mobile to mobile, and that they can use their phones at the top of the SWISS alps then we'll be number one 🙄
