upgrade to former ATTW w/out migration

CS informs me that as of last week, they have discontinued offering phone upgrades in return for a 12 month contract extension to former ATTW accounts. Is there anybody who knows how to still take advantage of this program? Is it really discontinued? I don't want to migrate to orange because I would be paying way more for a comparable plan.

If possible I also want to add another line. The usefulness of extending my contract is that Cingular can't take away certain features as they have threatened to do this past summer. Certain features on former ATTW plans were promotional and not part of the plan. ie M2M and unlimited NWK.

Cingular does not want people to stay on ATTWS. Their plans do not match the standards of Cingular. What plan are you on? I guarantee there is something that is comparable. If you end up having to pay a tiny bit more for relatively the same thing, take this into account:

With the new Cingular rate plans you can take advantage of ROLLOVER, which if used correctly can essentially at some point give you more minutes than you ever had with AT&T. Cingular phones are ENS capable, meaning that they can handoff from former AT&T wireless to Cingular towers effectively, essentially gioving you better service and less dropped calls while on the move. Customer service on the orange side is so much easier as well.

Tell us how many phones you...

I have a shared plan for 59.99 and 950 minutes. As part of a 1-year contract with 2-year contract benefits I also got early evenings included at no charge. The early evening minutes typically reach ~500. There are 3 additional lines for a total cost of 90 before taxes and fees. A SE T637, a Moto V505 an LG9100 and one other??. For a comparable plan I would need to get on the 89.99 2-line plan with 1400 minutes + $20 for 2 more lines. That's a total of $110. I would probably not make use of the Rollover feature since there are very few minutes if any left at the end of the billing period right now.

I live in Metro Boston and travel throughout the northeast and I have absolutely no problem with dropped calls.

As long as I am on a b...

I work in an orange/blue care center. Just tell blue care that you lost your phone and you refuse to migrate and would rather cancel the service unless they provide an AT&T phone for you. All there is available right now are basic Nokia's the 6010 etc... $119.99 no contract...49.99 1 year extenstion and free for 2 year extenstion..yes you can add a line to a blue account that already has additional lines but no promotions meaning the additional will be 19.99 not 9.99
