Exchange Question for Cingular Reps

If someone has the BlackBerry 7100G and was qualified for an exchange due to technical issues, what phones/devices would they be eligible for other than the 7100G? Would they be eligible for a Treo 650?

Thanks in advance.

Firefly

So far good things to say about this device. I have already sold 2 of them. When you tell parents that it is practically impossible to go over their minutes, they can't say no.

Anyone think it is a mofo to get it open to put the SIM card in? Also, they don't seem to come with a partial charge like most phones do out of the box.

Overall about Cingular's push to talk product

CINGULAR TO LAUNCH PUSH TO TALK (PTT) ON MONDAY (12/5/05). Cingular
Wireless launched a push-to-talk service on Monday, December 5th, as it hopes to take on Sprint
Nextel in offering the service. Cingular launched with two handsets, one from Samsung and one
from LG. Consumers on Cingular national plans and business plans can add the push-to-talk service
for $9.99 a month per line. Those on family plans can get the service for $19.99 for up to five lines.

ATTEMPTING TO TAP LESS PENETRATED MARKETS. Because of Nextel's (now Sprint)
dominance in the blue-collar worker market, Cingular first intends to go after markets that it views
as less penetrated, such as office workers, sales people and even teens and their parents. Cingular
hop...

If you have Cingular PTT here is a good site to register at.

http://www.pttusers.com »

It will let you register for free and find other users who are on Cingular PTT service and connect with them.

roaming in CA

I have the 39.99 450 GSM, 5K nights and weekends/unlimited mobile to mobile plan.

I live in Houston and am traveling to San Francisco and points north at the end of the year and I don't quite understand what is covered as far as roaming. I am a little concerned because if I read the Cingular map correctly, I will be out of cell phone range for a few days. The specific places I'm going to travel are:

1) Napa valley to Mendocino

2) Mendocino south along the coast on Hwy 1.

3) Yosemite

Can anybody advise me what the deal is with roaming? If I'm not on Cingular's "network", will I have to pay a per minute fee?

ATT/CINGULAR help!! Newbie user

I still have an ATT account, but my nokia 3200 just broke. I lost ALL info and the phone will only power up and say "selected memory empty", does this mean that all my info is really gone??I called 611(from another mobile) and got c.s. and she said my was basically toast, and that I need to migrate to cingular, there isa nothing they can do. OK, so I call cingular and they have NO love for my company's corporate account and rate plan. I mean, that I am currently with 1400min, 7-7 talk, unlmtd night/wknd, m-m free, but the only plan they have for me is about 40.00$ mth more?? Not a too big of a deal but the phones they want to sell ALL suck!!So my questions are as follows. Is there any where in the US that will sell me unlocked phones at a rea...

when is the v3i being released?

i think i read somewhere that someone said march cingular is releasing this phone? i can't wait til march hahaha!

its so funny, when the silver razr came out i thought the phone was ugly and too long and just yuck! and then the black one i thought was the coolest thing since elmo! and the pink one at first i thought looked dumb but after seeing that commerical for it 50 times a day i want one in pink as well. ima end up with 3 i can see it now...lol
does anyone know the correct demensions for the v3i? looked on here, cnet, gsm arena and some match that of the original raze and some don't. it looks like the back may be a bit bigger i guess maybe because of the memory card slot? ima pick up a 6822 as well because nokia makes the most relia...

Cingular Call Waiting Minutes Scam??

I recently looked over my detailed call summary and noticed my minutes had been charged two times whenever I used call waiting. For example, if person A calls me at 9:00pm and I accept a call waiting call at 9:01 and speak for 5 minutes, I’m charged 6 times twice, 12 minutes. I spoke with a customer service representative and she informed me that this double charge only occurs if person A remains on the other line and does not hang up. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that this is not true in my case, and have reason to believe that in any call waiting instance I am being charged twice (in one case 17 minutes times 2). This seemingly ‘free’ call waiting feature is scamming me out of my minutes every month and I’m curious if others are seeing ...

w600i prob.

Hey Everyone. Quick Question. I purchased online a sony ericson w600i with the cingular business discount for collages and universties (Cingular Premier), on tuesday of last week and got it friday. It is a really great phone, but, it was acting up a little bit and I wanted to exchange it for the same model. My question is, could I exchange the phone at a cingular store, or purchase a differnt phone, or just return the whole thing period. Could I go back to my old phone, and upgrade at a later time, or since i already upgraded, i can only return or exchange it. If I cant return it to a store, would I have to do this by phone? Thanks!!

P.S. When I log into my account on cingular.com and click "upgrade phone" it still says im elegible to upg...

Amazon Rebate Available For AT&T Customers?

Can someone tell me if the Amazon.com rebate avaialble on the Sony W600i for new Cingular customer would be valid for me to use since I am an AT&T customer still (you know what I mean). I don't want to take a count on the $150 rebate and then have it be declined because I have/had AT&T. My plan is to lower my current AT&T plan down to the bare minimum for three months until my contract expires and activate a brand new line with Cingular with two year agreement. Amazon doesn't seem to have a good contact that can confirm for certain whether I do qualify for that rebate or not. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Cingular in NYC

I'm from the south and don't really ever hit a BIG city really other than places like Memphis, NOLA, or Jackson so Cingular is always badass, but I'm heading up to NYC for a week this saturday. I'm sure I won't be on the phone that much but was just wondering how the service is anyways in case of some freak emergency or for any other reason.

Thanks

How's that 1500 min plan w/no rollover workin' out?

How's that 1500 min no n/w no rollover plan workin' out for y'all? I went wit' Verizon myself, but I gotta friend who' s might be a good candidate fo' it (switchin' from his 900 unl n/w w/rollover plan) since it'd save him 10 bucks a month.

He don' seem to believe me when I tell him 'bout the 1500 plan though, 'cus Cingular doesn't seem to advertise it at all an' he never sees anything 'bout it. He says I'm talkin' bout 'stealth plans', lol.

Is it a good plan in people's opinion? Are a lotta people goin' wit' it.. at least, the ones who actually know 'bout it?
