Has anyone heard anything about a potential release date? Is this a quad band phone? Thanks

With HSDPA coverage launched in 16 cities and a large rollout anticipated in 2006, all according to press releases, does anyone know when models like the Samsung zx10 (UMTS) and others like the three models, one from Motorola, Nokia, and LG (slider?) are coming out?

It was rumored before that some phones might come out in January 06. Any word on what's ahead?

HBO has signed a deal with wireless provider Cingular to offer some of its programs on cell phones. The cable network is planning two services for Cingular customers -- HBO Mobile and HBO Family Mobile.

I heard this phone picks up alot of background noise can this be solved if i use the included headphones? this may be a dum question but can u send a photo in the cameras highest quality? overall hows the phone compared to the rokr?(call quality,recption) Last question if i set the aac or mp3 to 128 bit rate i could fit a good amount of music and pictures correct?

i was wondering being that this is a old phone. Is it a good phone to use? and how is the os system on it and the internet.

Starting Friday Cingular customers can dial #43 (#ID) on their cell phones, hold the phone up to their source of music for 15 seconds, and Music ID will return the song title and artist!

It's a novelty feature, but it sounds like fun to me.

I have a s710 thats going crazy shuting off,chargeing when not pluggd up(the battery indicators acts as if its chargeing,and freezeing on calls and then shutting down.more than likely if i replce it under warranty will I get aother s710 or a W600i?

Im just wondering if any multimedia phones are commin out by the end of this month. I ask because i have a rokr and i have 2.5 weeks for me to return it for a better phone if i so choose.

A. i had my 6102 for a while now but ive been experinceing this buzz noise.
i experience this LOUD buzzing alienish noise for around like 1 in 20 calls that i dial. I have to end the call and redial and the problem is solved..anyone else have this problem?

B. o yea and sometimes when i try deleting a
pic or audio file or video it says "unable to delete"..but if i press delete again it gets deleted.


C. if i report these problems to cingular u think they will let me trade in for that new orange sony walkman phone or would they like refuurbish and give me back the same phone. or a new phone of same nokia?



D. And if i cant trade this in im about to give this nokia to my m...

I am so sick of getting calls from former ATT custs who were ported from ATT to Cingular! This needs to stop guys! Immedialtely! This hurts our numbers. There are some sales reps out there that can't migrate former ATT custs so, instead they PORT them in. This hurts our churn inmensibly! Former AT&T custs need to be migrated over. This is the only way that this needs to be done.

I was looking on the T-Mobile coverage area, and now they have a 850 band. So now do they have the have 4 bands? 850/900/1800/1900? But i did notice that they 850 is roaming, so are they pretty much roaming on cingular's network? thanks

CS informs me that as of last week, they have discontinued offering phone upgrades in return for a 12 month contract extension to former ATTW accounts. Is there anybody who knows how to still take advantage of this program? Is it really discontinued? I don't want to migrate to orange because I would be paying way more for a comparable plan.

I'm still on a AT&T Wireless plan with an SMT-5600, and would like to upgrade to a Cingular 2125 phone (wiht a Cingular plan, natch). My contract period is over.

Are there any discounts available because I was an AT&T customer (for reference, I went online and used the 'upgrade for former AT7T wireless customers' process)? If I could choose, I would choose a 1 year agreement even if it means spending more for the phone. Would I get a better price on the phone (Cingular 2125 specifically) if I went to a store, rather than online?

With the SMT-5600, I had to have a separate PDA Data Plan (I had $12.99/4mb) to use the internet. Are the "MEdia Net" plans (where $19.99/unlimited) the same thing, or is it the scaled down intern...

Any plans for Cingular to offer rollover text messages? I normally don't go over my limit, but last month I did. Would be a nice option to have, which means that it is unlikely to happen

I was in the retail store today browsing at the new phones (honestly the same ol' same ol' phones---my opinion) and a lady was trying to upgrade. The rep told her that Wal-Mart actually can get her a better deal then they can at the time as far as upgrading....ummm what the hell does this say about cingular? And yes.......this is a CORPORATE STORE not Joe Blows Wireless!

Hi, I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me. My employee discount had disappeared off my account and when I called to have it readded, I was informed I needed to provide them with the Foundation Account Number. I had not provided them with one initally. The lady I spoke with said that she could not disclose that number to me and that I would have to provide it.

I could not find this information anywhere on our Intranet at work. The closest I could find was a FAQ answer saying that I did not need to provide one and that the discount could just be added for me. This contradicts what I was told. Any help will be appreciated.

Has anyone else had problems with ordering ringtones off of Medianet and downloading them with their phone?
The link gets sent to my samsung x427, but then the webpage gives me an error message that it is "not available at this time."
I've tried 4 or 5 times over the course of 3 weeks and have had to get all attempts refunded b/c it never works.

The first time I tried and failed, I called CS for the refund (now i do it online)... the rep said that "no one had been able to download anything in the last 48 hours... and there was no way to tell when the system would be up again."... Well, okay, so I waited a few days, tried again, and again a few days after that.. now it's the next month and still nothing.

Anyone else have these pro...

Is this phone comming out next year? If so if I have to wait for umts or hspda set up in my area will this phone work on plain ol gsm networks like phones do now.(basically will the phone work). Last question if im not mistaken UMTS and HSPDA are for high speed network not for voice calls right? If highspeed is not available will i still be able to go online using edge or the slower connection? Sorry for all the questions.
