Been reading these threads with interest for the past few weeks. I have been phone shopping switching from Sprint. I had gone to a Cingular store at first but after reading what someone said about Best Buy and Wal Mart I found the Cingular store was much more expensive. I am glad I read this forum.
I initially bought a pair of Razrs for $140 and we were not happy with them and got instead a couple of Sonys. The return was fast and easy. We ported one number and got a new number on another phone. No glitches no issues. I do not know what I am missing for the extra couple of hundred the Rep at the Cingular Store was charging me. It would seem I would not have to go to a Cingular Store for anything now. So far so good on Cingular Service.

🤭 If your calling into customer service and your doing it for a tech support problem please do it from another phone! I can't stress this enough. Most of the time tech support with your phone requires you to turn your phone off. The number to call is 1-888-CINGULAR from a land line phone. Please help us to help you and call from another phone. Also don't call from your vehicle. It makes for a very dangerous situation. Don't put other peoples lives in danger because you can't get your text messageing to work. Wait until you get to work, or home and call from a SAFE PLACE! Thank you. 😁

i plan to switch from T-mobile to cingular around that time (jan. 2006). i was gonna get the V3i but theni found out it's coming out march 2006.

I have the rokr and I want to use the motorola music player not the i-tunes for playing music so how do i go about doing that. Last question is there a way to set up playlist and playing the songs in any kind of order.?

What is the difference between the Voice mail of the ATTWS times and the Voice mail now? I ask because for 1.99 you get "Enhanced Voice Mail". Have they taken away some functionality from the original service and added it back as a premium? If so, can I live without it? I was thinking of stuff like "send message to list" which I never do.

I'm a cingular customer already.. and so is my wife.. i just picked up the Nokia 6102 and I'm pretty happy with it.. she's looking, but doesn't want the same phone.. BUT she likes Nokia, mainly because the signal pickup seems better..

I lost my phone the other day but was given my friends old cingular phone because they upgraded.

now that i have a phone and a sim card with someone elses number on it, is it possible for cingular to change the phone number and account associated with that sim card to my own?

Hello everyone! I just gotta say that I love this phone! But and this is a big one! When I occasionally swivel the phone open (not every time) to enter text or what have you on the mobile internet or just in phone operations the phone powers down. and I'm making sure that I'm not hitting the power button by mistake. So I wanted to post this here to see if any other w600i owner is having this problem before I send it back to cingular for my replacement w600i.

if u wanted to get this can u transfer and keep ur old number from t-mobile for example. Then transfer is back to t-mobile and get t-mobile again. Becuase im out of contract and i want to get special pricing on the phones tey have. Plus i think it should have roaming.

i'm looking at the new LG F9200 and it looks like a good phone. I currently have the Sony Ericsson Z500a. Now the Sony has EDGE, which i don't care cuz i don't use the internet. But what i'm looking for in a phone is IMing and Text messaging. And the LG has GPRS class 10 is that fast? so can i IM fast? well ive used my friends sidekick and it wuz fast. And sickkicks use GPRS. Another question is the phone part. I'm also going to make calls. Now i noticed that the LG didn't have the 1800 band. Is that important in the US? becuz the LG only supports 850 and 1900. I get GREAT coverage with my Sony, it's just i want a phone with a QWERTY keyboard. Thanks

Ok, I am starting to feel sick to my stomach everytime I look at cingular.com I see phones that we have discontinued weeks ago coming back online... ex: P207, E317, Z500A.
Why can't we just let those phones go for good?
I feel like next week I'll look and see the V180 or the v220 on there again. As a sales rep I can't keep up with this game. It's very aggravating... 👿

I thought this was just an Arizona thing, but I just got an e-mail from one of my high-ups in Texas, and the title of the e-mail was "SIMS CARDS"

Has anyone else encountered this? Why the hell do people make SIM plural? Especially if you put "cards" after it! Maybe people think it stands for Subscriber Identity Module Sweet? PTT is finally here after all tha waiting. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Also ive read in other posts that the side key on the Sony Ericcson is supposed to be the PTT key? Is that correct. Because there is no PTT program in my phone? Is there some sort of update for the phone? And can this phone use PTT. Thanks
