hey! i now currently own a sony ericsson s710a and its a nice phone but i cant seem to get the mp3 loaded on to my phone. every time i attempt to my computer shuts down and reloads itself does anyone know what this could be from and HOW TO FIX IT! it's making me mad that i can't get songs on to my phone.

I work in a company store and have to say something bad happened this month for customers.

An agent closed up shop in the south jersey area, and left customers with little options if they wanted to exchange a phone, or cancel service. We've had 2 cust in 2 days that wanted to exchange their phones, but had to turn them away because they were purchased at an agent location(that closed) Now we have the bad news of telling them to call an 800 number, or drive to delaware (45 min from us) to exchange their phone. This is a bad move because the customers don't blame the agent, they blame cingular, because afterall, they bought the phone from a "cingular" store.

O yea, we were told, we can't exchange the phones because they have a contrac...

I know that in the past Cingular has had a bad rap. The truth of the matter is that they are a really good company with good plans and phones that have ten times the quality of other carriers. So Cingular, I applaud you for your dedication. One thing that needs to change though is phone pricing. The constant undercutting of the retail and agent stores by big retailers like Wal-Mart, Sams, and Best Buy is hurting all locations and is forcing us to seek other means of revenue. If this problem were fixed, Cingular would stay on top and Verizon wouldn't have a chance. Good luck Cingular, and I'm glad I'm employed by you! Please post your comments.

If the phone a person using does not have the 800 mhz isnt it true were using t-mobiles network or are u using cingulars network?

Got some PTT for Cingular info for anyone that is interested....

11-25-05 is scheduled to be a per-national launch "soft launch" of PTT in the South Florida market, coinciding with the holiday sale with no activation fees. The only phone that can be sold at this time with the capability will be the LG F7200. The Samsung PTT is in the store inventory, but not available, perhaps because of firmware issues as stated in the previous thread.

The Samsung PTT phone which was to be launched commercially with the PTT service has been recalled due to several firmware issues. Looks like its not just the service that is holding back the launch date.

I need some advice. Here's my situation: we have a family plan with 3 lines (AT&T plan) that is expiring and we need to upgrade because quite frankly our phones are outdated and falling apart. So we have decided to go with the 700 minute plan (for $80 total/month). Problem is we can't decide between Cingular and Verizon, which each offer the same plan. Verizon's service in my area is better, not by much, but there is a mild difference.

Originally we thought we would stick with Cingular because surely as customers, we must be offered better deals. But the only difference I've found is that the activation fee is dropped for Cingular since we've been with them.

Does anyone know when we might see 3G phones released. What ever happened to the Nokia, Motorola, and LG, 3G phones in the 4th quarter?

Hopefully we see something come out soon, like maybe before Christmas. The Samsung ZX10 I heard was coming in Q1 of 2006, but any idea when?

If anyone or possibly reps out there, some news on 3G phones would be appreciated, especially since we are so close to the holidays.

The current sim is a green sim card w/ an orange wave (Cingular Orange). The phone is a Sony Ericsson Z500a and the current SIM card is a 64k Smart Chip. Will that SIM card use the strongest signal regardless if the strongest signal is coming from Cingular Orange GSM or Cingular Blue GSM tower? If not, how can that be corrected?

Is there a way to do a manual network selection and try to determine (Cingular Orange GSM or Cingular Blue GSM) which network is the best for a particular area?

Is there anything that has to be done to update a SIM Card with the list of latest towers (Something similar to a "PRL Update" that has to be completed occasionally on a CDMA network such as Sprint or Verizon)

Theres no need to breed negativity, you have stated your point of view many times, any I'm sure everyone knows it. If your that adament about it, get offline and go stand on a street corner with a sign, or better yet call a news station or write your congressmen.

Most people erroneously believe they shoould buy their Wireless service from Wieless stores. that is not the case and there is really no reason to do so unless you like spending more for the same thing.

Best Buy and Wal Mart offer phones and accessories far less money. For instance try getting a Razor for $69 witha 2 year contract at any Corporate or wireless store. Thats Wal Marts price. All the accessories are made in China n matter where you buy them.

Yeah the argument in opposition will state you get individual customer service at a corporate or wireless store. You DO NOT need this customer serice execpt on the phone. Once you sign the CARRIER will serve you. The phone manufacturer will help with the phone. You really do not need...
