PC Cards

What exactly are the PC cards used for? I have noticed the Sierra Wireless Aircard 775, a Sony Ericsson GC83 and an Open Globetrotter on Cingular's website. I am sure that is for connectivity for your laptop (or pretty sure at least). Is that any different than tethering it to your phone? Is it supposed to be faster than tethering? If using those cards, I would presume your phone is not involved in the operation of getting online...?? And how much are the data plans associated with this??

Motorola RAZR V3x

Does anyone know if this phone is coming to Cingular and when? It seems like a much better product than the orginal RAZR. Any info would help.

Thanks

N80

Has FCC approval now, and strong rumors it will be for Cingular very soon, contrary to what has been stated on this forum.

Cingular Premier

Hey Cingular Reps. I have a question.
Well I put my dad's email in on cingular.com and it said he is elegible for discounts and stuff for Cingular Premier. My line is elegible to upgrade, and they have the Sony Ericsson W600i on the site for me to upgrade to for 179.99 which is great, but then I typed in my other line to upgrade, which isnt elegible yet, and it still lets me continue to upgrade that line. Is this a thing with the premier cingular that lets me upgrade without being elegible or is this just some kind of mix up. If it's not, then this is the coolest thing ever! THANKS!

Text Messaging and Data

Can someone tell me if Cingular uses their voice channels so that people can send text messages and use media net? There has been times out here in Louisiana where my phone will say "network busy" indicating that all the voice channels are taken. I try to send text messages or get on the internet with my phone and it will say sending failed or it just won't let me log onto the internet. Oh, and sometimes my phone will tell me "wrong internet account" when it won't let me log on. Whats up with that?

Took Back Razor in favor of ys are

OK so I am adding a line to my phone for my boyfriend he decided too try out the Black V3. Got it home and downloaded MPT3.25. Got all the pics and Ringtones transfered. Used the phone for a Day and took it back for the free Sony Z520a.

Best Buy had the Razor for $69. Sony was free.
All I can say is the V3 is all flash and no substance. HE could'nt even put addresses in the ADDRESS book! The Sony does everything the V3 does and more and the SE software is much better then the Moto Phone Tools which messed up some Outlook contacts.

I guess I should be writing this in the review section. Oh well. Its an FYI

I have a few questions on the w800i and cingulars network

IF I get the w800i i should have decent coverage in most meropolitan cities but will have spotty coverage in smaller cities? My thoughts were i would have good coverage in metropolitan areas because 1.my mom has a old nokia 3390 phone an she gets 3-4 bars and 2.cingular and t-mobile share towers so i should have at least have t-mobile coverage in most metropolitan areas. is there anything else I should know beofore i buy this phone? I heard since i get a phone not covered by cingular a few applications might not work do u know what those are? Will I still be able to send and receive mms? Any other info I should know will greatly appreciated.

Text Transfers

Is there a way to transfer text messages from my phone (Nokia 6230) to my computer through the Nokia PC Suite or any other means? My phone is just about out of room for texts and I'd like to have a copy of them on my computer. Many thanks.
