ATTW customers - A must read
I predict that Cingular will offer incentives to former ATT wireless customers around Dec. 2007 to get them to migrate to Orange. That is 2 years from Dec. 2005, when the last former ATTW contracts put in place will come off contract.
Until Dec 2007, Cingular will need to maintain the separate (Blue) billing and CS to support these subscribers. Besides, technically cingular could say "switch or cancel without ETF" any time, thus voiding the 05 - 07 relevance.

I wonder if just because the billing system is being transferred to the orange system, does that mean that all Blue plans will also have to migrate to Orange?
Why would Cingular migrate just the billing system if what they really want is all Blue subscribers migrating to Orange plans? Closing all blue accounts and opening new Orange accounts would be a lot simpler.
