Fantastic Merchadising Idea
So cingular has this great idea of putting these dangling ribbon things on the ceiling that hand down in front of childrens faces. They think they are the greatest things ever to play with. Problem is they keep pulling them down. Why on earth would cingular design something so fun to play with for kids and expect them not to be torn down.

Corporate doesn't have kids in their offices all day.
I've gotta ask though, what do you have them hanging from? The only way they could pull them down is to pull the hooks out of the ceiling. I have more trouble with kids pulling the banners down since they're only clipped in.
The last time a kid pulled one down it just fell onto his head, and the kid stood there and said, "oops." The parents didn't even say a thing.

We don't have anything hanging from the ceiling... only along the walls. We have problems with people stealing the little branches and balls that go on the phone displays....

You don't have those big curly blue carboard "ribbons" that hang from the ceiling?
We have two that frame a CU500 banner, so those may only be in UMTS markets. They are pretty ribbons though.
...
we put those inside our glass case. 😎

You put the ribbons in your glass case? How freakin big is that case? Mine stretch from floor to ceiling!
...
the case stretches from ceiling to 1 and 1/2 feet from the floor. they fit perfect. and in between them we have that big @$$ lg cu500 flashing poster hanging.
looks pretty good. we are supposed to get some little christmas tree to sit in the middle very soon.

slide me an email address or something and i can send pics to you from my phone.

We have the cu500 cardboard flashing thing, but it's against the wall. No ribbons.

well that's what I think chainsaw was talking about pulling down. They're shiny so I would imagine that would attract small children to it. They'd have to pull the heck out of them to rip them off the ceiling though. I made sure of that.

Lol I don't put anything past kids. They run their parents. We're in a mall, and right in front of our store is a "bathtub display". I've seen kids climbiing in and out of it, doing what they please and the parents look at them and smile.
I'm waiting for a kid to fall and hurt themselves and see what the parent says. I'm sure the first thing will be "i'm calling a lawyer".
