Where To Purchase the V635?
OK so now we know the V635 is not going to be released anytime soon...so where is the best place to purchase one @ a good price?...this is what i have so far...
MyWorldPhone= $349+$35shipping
TigerDirect= $350+$13shipping
Ebay=anywhere from $340-$400 w/ shipping
I use ebay often, but im not sure i want to purchase the phone this way...i know mwp always reduces their prices daily so maybe the price will drop soon b/c its new to the site...
any opinions or other sites? thanks

I would suggest looking at international auctions on eBay. I got mine from a German auction for $260 USD + shipping. Here's one, but it ends pretty soon, so you may not get to it in time.

The phone is not being sold by Motorola in the US, so the only way anyone is going to get it is from overseas.

Let me clarify that last post. Even if you buy it from someone in the US, they got the phone from overseas.

I ordered a Nokia 6260 this morning from TigerDirect andit has already shipped. I looked and Myworldphone and no-air-time, but I decided to go with a bigger where someone did answer the phone while eating.

that last post is very confusing...anyway the price already dropped to 339 at mwp but shipping is still very pricey...im now thinking about getting one from ebay.uk b/c the prices are cheap and i talked to my friend who bought a phone overseas and his trasaction went fine...i would like to get the phone for $320 or less w/ shipping...only place to get one for that price as of now is ebay.uk

Did their phone come with a univeral plug adapter? That is the thing that plugs converts the overseas plug into the US plug current.

Right now, I would wait a few weeks. With the release of the V635 in Canada, it may very well be coming to a national US carrier soon. Reference the threat started by phattbam in the V635 forum and the news article posted today about Rogers Wireless also on the V635 forum.

ok i probably will wait, im in no rush...just want to get the phone for a good deal...im probably going to upgrade to a samsung or w/e i can get for free as an upgrade and sell that and my current V300 which is in mint condition and make $200 off them together and put that towards the V635...thanks
