TMOBILE WI-FI/GPRS Software BUG !!!

I notice my battery on my notebook runs down more than ever after installing the "T-Mobile Connection Manager" and after much checking I've notice some very large files in the C:\documents and settings\all users\application data\TMOBILE\Connect Manager diretory.

Its called DIAGNOSTICS.TXT and a few others and your application is writing to this file several times a second.

I need this Diagnostics crap turned off ASAP. I don't have a TMobile problem, I have a MAJOR PROBLEM with you using CPU & DISK WRITES several times a second running my battery down.

Your application should be a LOW RESOURCE app since most people use the WI-FI and GPRS/EDGE on notebooks without electric.

Where's you heads at?

Just outta curiosity, Does Tmobile allow rental of EDGE/Wireless PCMCIA cards?

I use the internet for quite a few things, and the Condo I stayed in for vacation a few months had WIFI depoloyed in every building but mine. (Talk about bad luck).

I was just wondering does Tmob do 1 month (or less) rentals of EDGE PCMCIA cards?

T809

While not normally enthused by Samsung phones, this looks like a phone I might consider. I only have two real concerns and was hoping some of you guys might be able to talk to them. First, there are still keys showing when the slider is closed, do you have to lock the keys to keep it from auto dialing? Part of the reason I buy flip phones is that I don't care to be bothered with locking the keys. And Second, having the screen open like that all the time, seems like it would get scratch real easy. How do you protect the screen? I normally just carry my phones in my pocket. Holsters and clips really aren't practical on motorcycles.

Upgrade Returns

I upgraded with a 2-year extension online.

From what I understand I have 14days to return the phone if I don't like it?

Can I take it to a corporate store for the return, and also.. will that put my contract back in it's previous state and still show that i'm eligable for an upgrade?

working for Tmobile?

Hi guys, I just wanted to get the opinion of people who work for Tmobile on how things go for Tmobile employees. I am currently in sales with Us Cellular, and hate to leave this company based on how well they treat us employees, and how great opps. ther are for advancement, however in about 6 months my fiancee will be attending a school in an area that my company is not a part of (Dallas TX), and I am going with her. I work in retail sales, and will be looking for a position of the same sorts. so, how do you like it? is pay decent?does the company empower you to do your job well? I hear good things so far, but since Tmobile is not here in town (omaha NE) I am looking to you all for help!!!! Thank you so much in advance! 🙂

mobile to mobile package smart or not?

Here is my dilema. I am on the T-Mobile 1000 minutes a month plan with unlimited nights and weekends for 39.99 a month. I have been waiting for T-Mobile to offer the mobile to mobile package in any of their plans since I took the 1000 minute plan in April of 2003. and they just refuse to offer it unless you take a family plan. Duh, thats what mobile to mobile means. We know that but in order to broaden their services I feel they should offer that in their plans. My question is does anyone think its worth it for me to put it on my existing plan for an additional 6.99 a month or is it a waste? Many people I speak to are on T-Mobiles network and it might be a smart thing to do. The other side of me is saying dont give them anymore money then yo...
