BB 7105T Vs 7100G

Does anybody have an opinion on which unit is better? I know the the Blackberry 7105T is T-mobile and the 7100G is Cingular. I am trying to decide which unit is better and that will help me choose which provider to go with.
Thanks in Advance 😕

T-Mobile is Now Gonna Start Buyin' Out Smaller Carriers?

http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticleSearch.aspx ... »

I jus' gotta wonder who they gonna buy out, 'cus all the big regionals seem to be CDMA, which aint compatible with T-Mobile's network.

Biggest GSM regional I think is Dobson/CellOne, which is got only 1.6 million customers.

So T-M is gonna buy SEVERAL regional carriers then? Eat 'em up like Raisinettes? 🙂

T-Mobile Vs Cingular

I need some quick advice. I am getting ready to either renew my contract with Cingular or switch to T-mobile. My issue is with coverage I travel alot but most of my travels take me to California(both Southern and Northern),Colorado, and Massachusetts. I live in Texas. Can somebody out there offer there opinion on the quality of service(making and receiving calls) in these areas? Its not that I'm unhappy with Cingular, But I have a good friend who just went to work for T-Mobile and is asking me to make the switch. I currently use the Treo 650 which sucks as a phone but its a great PDA, He has offered me the Blackberry 7105T for 149.99. Is the Blackberry a good unit? I know that phone quality is usually an individual preference, but I have nev...

Anyone with signal/quality experience in southwest VA and Hampton Roads?

May be switching soon and was wondering if anyone has had either good or bad signals and call quality in southwest Virginia, particularly, Roanoke-Christiansburg-Blacksburg. Also, up I-81, on 64 through to Richmond and Hampton Roads area, especially Williamsburg in between Richmond and Newport News. Any personal experiences welcome!

Data Plan info?

There is a chance I may be able to obtain one of the SE data cards for my laptop. I see on the tmo website the combined wifi/edge plan of $49.99. Isn't there an edge only plan (aleady have a separate tmo hotspots account thru my employer)? Could I sign up for this plan (as a separate account from my cellphone account) without purchasing a card from tmo?

Or:
If I buy a card from tmo (like the SE GC89):
None of the data cards show up on the mytmo upgrade list. Would I get any sort of special pricing if I went back into contract on my cell account, dropped the unlimited internet2 feature from it, but added a separate account for data only with a datacard? I realize this may be more expensive, but there is an advantage to me of having...

HTC Wizard?

Does anyone know if TMo will carry the HTC Wizard by the 1st quarter of 2006? I am eyeing that phone, but according to the info on PhoneScoop, Cingular is the only carrier planning to carry it at the moment.

If TMo doesn't get it, can I buy it from Cingular without a contract and have T-Mobile unlock it?

Have you all experienced this weird error?

Lately I have had this strange error where I make a call on my T-Mobile phone and it says something like " Server access error" or "server busy?"

Why does this occur? Does T-Mobile have a new system, aside from the new voicemail?

For those who are T-mobile "dislikers", "haters" or working for other carriers

Why do you make it your business to place negative comments here? What are you so threaten by? Do you need prozac? Lipitor? Pepto? If you want to investigate as to what the other carrier forum is saying. Then investigate but don't be an arse. If you want to leave t-mobile then leave. Don't ask questions then be rude when someone give you their opinion. 🙄

Pink RAZR release date?

Anyone know the release date for this phone? My local T-Mobile store is being rather cryptic. They said they are for sure getting it, and that it will be in later this month, but then they retract their statements etc...thought someone might have an inside scoop...thanks!

Nokia N90 from T-Mobile

On December 1st, CompUSA and RitzCamera will be offering the Nokia N90 for only $399.99 for the first 100 days ONLY! It will be offered as if it were a T-mobile phone. It can NOT be offered as a upgrade phone and should come unlocked. If you remember the Nokia N-Gage being a pilot program through EbGames and Gamestop this is how the N90 will be sold. For $400 for a phone like that I know I'm going to buy this phone. This is real, if you need more information just call 611 and ask them about the new Nokia N90.

New price for Family Time plan additional lines

Sorry if this is a re-post, but I didn't see any info about it on this site. I found out on another similiar web site, that T-Mobile will be lowering the rate on the additional lines in the Family Time plans from 9.99 to 7.99. It is supposed to take effect later this month. Just thought I would pass along this info.

Does t-mobile have a phone with a mega pixel cam and Bluetooth?

It seems I can only get one or the other with these options, while my brother has both with Verizon. Is anything out yet that I am not seeing, or are there versions coming out soon?

Thank you.

Can someone please explain the proxy on T-mobile

To connect using an application on T-Mobile, weather it be Opera, MGmaps, Netfront or whatever, you can't get that application to talk on the Internet until you explicitely specify the proxy server address (216.155.165.50:8080) within that application. But in the configuration of the access point in the phone, you can put in the proxy server address. Why doesn't every application on the phone just try to use that proxy server? Some applications don't have an option to put in a proxy server address, so they are useless. Or is there a proxy client that you can download for Series 60/Symbian that will allow you to have any application to use a proxy? My phone is a Nokia 6620.
