Stupid question: what happens when I miss a call?
I am not an avid cell phone user, so my question may seem stupid.
What happens when I travel outside of the service area and someone tries to call me? Am I supposed to get a "missed call" message on my phone when it sees the network again? Well, I don't. So I have no way to know if anybody called unless they bother to leave a voice message.
I don't think that's normal, is it?
tech gurus...Does Razr pick cingular (both GSM 850 /1900 ) signal?
1) Does Razr(or other quad band) phone pick cingular (both GSM 850 /1900 ) signal or does it pick only 1900 (similar to Tmobile).
2) What happens in the market where Tmobile is not avaiable and Cingular has GSM 850? Does the phone stop working?
3) Does Free Roaming include other companies?
what unlocked "unofficial" high end phone is good with T-mobile?
so i'm just afraid that any of these phones will A) get bad reception because they're not "official" phones or B) internet or such like that won't 'work right' cuz of same reason.
how does any of those phones work for any of u t-mobile customers?
NEW PHONES???

Would you stay?
I have been with T-Mobile since 1998 (signed up with Voicestream). My wife and I are both Architects and desperately need a Mobile PDA device. We have been carrying Palms and Mobile phones separately for years. Note, I have been “out” of my contract (month-to-month) for two years. That’s how long I’ve been waiting for T-Mobile to have something decent (non-crackberry).
Last November I called in to inquire about the newly (new at the time) released Treo 650. They said no, but “we should shortly.” Long story short, I have been calling them and checking their web site for 12 months…nothing.
Sprint has made me a handsome offer including two Treo’s at $319 each, free shipping, and free activation. Plus, their data plan is now d...

Where is the EDGE capable aircard?
Does anyone know when the EDGE aircard will be out?
Also I have been reading on HoFo that Tmo is considering raising its internet plan from $29.99 to $49.99? Is this true?
I hope not, as I won't pay that much for it. If it is $29.99 I will buy it and drop Qwest DSL that I am paying $31.99 for, plus drop my home phone line I don't use except for internet that I pay $15 for...I will save $17/mo by having Tmo for cell/internet.
If Tmo does charge $49.99 it is more than I am paying now with Qwest ($46.99), and EDGE is ...

Probably a really stupid question, but.
What can I do? -- They don't return security deposit.
It has been more than one year so I requested deposit from T-Mo. But they claimed that I only had $250 deposit (and I got the $250 check few weeks ago). But I am really sure that I was requested $500. So I went to find my first month's bill, but couldn't find it. I asked them to mail me a copy: surprisingly, it shows $250 for one of the lines only.
So I tried to find the receipt from A1Wireless and fortunately I found it: it clear shows that the deposit was $...

Here's how you do it:
Target sells the T-Mobile To Go "package" with the Nokia 6010 for $39.99. This includes $15 of airtime credit. There is a $30 rebate on the Nokia 6010 *but* the rebate is not authorized from Target, Walmart or Sam's Club.
Here's where you have to start to work:
Buy the Nokia 6010 at Target for $39.99 + sales tax.
Go to Staples. Staples has the same T-Mobile T-Mobile to go package but their package they charge $79.99 for the same package that you just got at Target. Staples has a 110% matching policy. Staples credits you $44.00. You walk out of Staples with the same package and pay only $35.99. I'm not sure why but I was evidently not charged state sales tax. So... you have...

1st question is
A. Any info on the new Nokia Flip Phone 6101. Good bad or otherwise?
B. If I bought the Pay to Go Model can I use it with my normal monthly service if I switch out the sim card? and is it the EXACT phone or are there differences?
