HTC Tornado and Wizard

On phonearena.com today, its said the HTC Tornado and Wizard have shown up on Cingulars website. Please tell me T-Mobile will still get one, if not both of these.

They got a clue

On a pity trip, an employee sent me a different model phone, still a samsung, but miraculously, people tell me they hear me better. It just goes to show you that if you shake a tree hard enough, you just might get a coconut.
Thank you to the man who found his heart at t-imMobile. You can stop laughing at my call log over there now.

T-MobileWeb Questions/Concerns

I'm on a T-Mobile Family Plan and I wanted to know if it is possible to get the T-MobileWeb for just one phone? If I didn't like it can I cancel it or am I obliged to keep it for the full length of my Family Plan contract? Also, if I do get T-MobileWeb, can I set my phone up to automatically notify me when I receive an email? Or do I always have to do a sign-in thing?

Why you guys so cheap?

Been looking around for a new carrier, and you guys seem to bhe the cheapest national carrier. Why is that?

Gota ask because life has taught me that you get what you pay for. But if youre cutting the corners in places I don' care about, then thats all good.

btw Catherine Zeta Jones is mad sexy. 😎

I am just so fed up with T-Mobile...

Why T-Mobile, why?! why do you give me the best customer service and are always so helpful when I come in to see you?! Why can't you be more like those Cingular reps and treat me like the customer trash that I am? Why do you T-Mobile reps love your jobs, and why do you offer me the best signal in my area as well as the most minutes?! I am so tired of having better signal than everyone else because I have T-Mobile and they don't! T-Mobile, I am so fed up with the outstanding wireless service I am getting from you. I am going with Cingular where, not only will I be spat on, but I will also have mysterious charges on my bill and I will never have call clarity. Huff!

Unlocked Phs

Im intrested in purchasing an unlocked phn but first I would like to know the cons of doing so. If if i bought a phn established for ex. cingular service ( 👿 ) would i still be able to access t-zones and download ringtones or surf the net from the phone or will those applications become obselete?

You guys think T-Mobile will add more customers than Cingular?

I read some posts on the Cingular forum where apparently Cingular had some pretty disappointing and whack results. They added 867,000 customers last quarter, which fo' them apparently is not good.

I notice that T-Mobile, while not so great always on the coverage, is tempting to a lot of folks cus its very cheap. The marketing is good too, I like the commercials.

Given that, y'all think you're gonna take Cingular this quarter? That'd be kinda cool, I guess. Or maybe I just really like Catherine Zeta-Jones. 😎

Tmobile's USA new subscriber growth for 1st and 2nd quarters

Tmobile got 972,000 net new customers added in Q2 2005 and they got 957,000 net new customers added in Q1 2005.

Quarter 3 is soon so i will update the forum after they report those numbers.

new T-Mobile plans will kick butt!

Starting next month:

New promo plans:
T-Mobile: 1500 no n/w 39.99
T-Mobile 1500 + unlimited n/w 49.99

Compared To:

Cingular and Verizon: 1350 n/w/m2m 79.99

Is it me, or do I smell a victory for T-Mobile?

Anyone got the scoop on the new family plans???

I already read that family plans will have their minutes upped, but do you guys know how many more mins they will acquire?

We are on the $99 with 2K minutes, upped from 1,600 mins.

Also, which family plan(s) will be upped?

Thanks

Uh Oh......I called it months and months ago.......

Wow. I called it shortly after Cingular's buy out of AT&T. I said eventually we'll probably snatch up T-Mobile too. And lo and behold, the buzz in the industry is exactly that!

So try all your last minute plan shenanigans, etc etc etc. But it looks as if that may not work much longer!!! 🤣

The Boston & Austin Promo

Has anyone heard anything more about the plans they are running in these two markets? I heard they were doing so well that retail stores are having to turn away activations because they cant handle all of them.

T-Mobile EDGE questions

I just got a phone that has EDGE capability. I have read in a bunch of places that EDGE should have been rolled out to the entire United States for T-Mobile by September 1st. How can you tell if it is using EDGE or not? Are there any settings that need to be made in a phone to make it use EDGE, or do the regular GPRS settings make it use EDGE?

Worst software ever written...?

My pick is Mobile Phone Tools!!!

Any convenience that is gained through the use of a Bluetooth link from phone to laptop to all but erased by the amazing sluggishness and general bad personality of MPT.

One example: With the inital release of this software, simply shutting it down would take a full 3 MINUTES...during which time MPT would consume 75-95% of CPU, basically rendering my laptop useless for several minutes.

Today I installed MPT service pack 1. But I'm not sure the 'improvement' is worth mentioning; now it only takes TWO minutes to shut down!!

The creator of this product is BVRP.

Here's an amusing piece from their website:

"BVRP Software, a worldwide developer and publisher of communications, productivity and uti...
