Or did I miss something? I just looked to see the v360 (its my day off so I didn't ahve more normal 9:30am check) and I find this in the description:

What the hell? Is this a horrible misprint because the v360 can do PTT but is crippled for Tmo because we can't support it? Or did they just decide to throw in PTT over an EDGE network? Is there something special I don't know about to make PTT NOT lag horribly over an EDGE network?

Well, I'm really glad to read everyone's input on the subject I posted. There are so many strong arguments for and against this, that the conversation can go a million ways.

But as history has taught us in this industry, once rumors start, and everyone buzzes about it, the companies involved are hush hush like "Oh, theres no talks" or "Oh, we're not for sale". But AT&T Wireless was saying that even after the spinoff from AT&T in 2001! I remember our entire call center being pulled together (~2000 employees) just so they can tell everyone "We're not going to merge with Cingular!!!". And that was in 2001!

😳 Hey all, What gives with the pricing on phone upgrades? Especially since now their are no rebates available? Did they all of a sudden do away with the same as new pricing for pretty much every phone? Damn this totally sucks!! I got the demo in my store today...

Its an "ok" phone. No major WOW factor. I do not like the design. It looks plasticky to me. The external screen isn't even color! Pretty good audio on the mp3. Other than that, its not a big improvement from the V330.

For those of you going skiing this winter near Taos, T-Mobile now works in Red River. None of the following is shown on their coverage map...

I went north from Taos to Questa, then on rte. 38 to Red River, Elizabethtown and Eagle Nest, then onto rte. 64 through Ute Park to Cimarron, then on rte. 58 to I-25 just south of Maxwell.

About 15 miles north of Taos Plaza it drops, doesn't work through Questa, then when on rte. 38 gets signal more often than not just east of Questa. I don't know who the carrier is here, my phone said 10-040 (I think). It drops further into the canyon then when entering Red River get full signal on Plateau Wireless.

On rte. 38 it works mostly just in the towns...no service in the canyons outside of Red R...

I have heard that both cingular and t-mobile shared towers together but in they sold their old network cingular to t-mobile and cingular is now on att network. I was wondering is it true that they are allowed to use t-mobile newly acquired network for 4 years for like the aquistion. Because my friend has cingular and he gets the same reception as me. If this true then t-mobile is at a disadvantage in california cuz cingular can use both t-mobile and old att network. Someone plz comment on this topic.

The word is that the pics were leaked by a T-Mobile employee. T-Mobile just received some of these devices for testing and the employee took it aside and took pics and released them. Danger is really pist and trying to cover it up. They first posted these pics on danger's forums and it was immediately locked and deleted. Danger wants to name it the "M2 Revolution" but T-Mobile wants to name it the Sidekick 3. There was a tentative set released date, but now it has been scracthed since the photos were released. Lets see what happens, if anyone knows anything more and needs to correct me on anything please feel free.
