Cingular's $49.99 1500 anytime minutes plan (available from 11/25/2005 - 02/11/2006)

🤣 Man it is only sooo nice to know we have actually released a better plan of the same price and talk time as Cingular has done.....but quite a bit earlier. 🤣

For those without a clue, I am talking about the $49.99 1500 minutes/ free n&w plan. Not only this, but we have an option of the similar type w/o. the free n&w for $10 less too (@ $39.99/month). This is just too funny that to see how behind they are in this aspect of the game.

Samsung T809

Got a demo in my store today...

I MUST SAY IT IS SICK!! (in a GREAT WAY)

I believe this might kill the RAZR. It is the same size as the RAZR but with a 1.3 megapix cam, mp3 player and memory card.

Guess what... its all black!

Only downside is the keypad.. too flat.

Why T-Mobile is great and other carriers are too...

Hello all my cellularites out there...
Just had to speak my peace on a few matters.
I frequently see a lot of bashing on the boards and it's sad.
T-Mobile has its good points (great plans, more minutes, decent phones, great customer service).
Verizon has its good points (best coverage, great customer service-large size for mob2mob usage, PTT)
Cingular has its good points (good coverage, decent plans-large size for mob2mob)
Sprint/Nextel has its good points (okay maybe I lied about one of them)...wait...they have push to talk service.
My point is...all carriers have great coverage in different areas of the country. Plans will vary and range.
Quit bashing...just be happy with the one you're with or ask for opinions on other ca...

OTA PROBLEMS

I was wondering if anyone has experienced problems with their ota update if they have a sk2. About 3 weeks ago i got the first update, my phone restarted then the second one came i got a error msg then after that my phone didnt work at all. The phone would not recognize my sim card and would not let me sign in to the network using my username and password. I called cust service and they sent me a new phn which i had for about 2 weeks and yesterday the ota update was sent to the replacement phone and the same problem happened!!! I called cus service very upset and i asked has this been happening alot to other users and they talked to me like i was stupid and did something wrong, i work in the wireless industry so i know how equip works but...

RIM 7015T @ The Mobile Solution for $70 after rebate

😲 I cannot believe I am actually saying something good for once about The Mobile Solutions....but $70 + tax after rebate for a one year upgrade price for the Blackberry 7105T phone nevertheless, something that for a 2 year upgrade price via T-Mobile's Cust Care is $175 +tax after rebate.

What's the catch you ask?????? The Mobile Solution's price is just lower from the beginning plus more reabtes offered.

TMS: $220 + Tax (before rebate) - $100 mail in rebate (T-Mobile) - $50 mail in rebate (TMS) = $70 + tax total (1 year upgrade price).

T-Mobile: $299.99 + tax - $100 mail in rebate (T-Mobile) = $199.99 + tax (1 year upgrade price).

A $130 + tax difference in both situations for a 1 year price. 🙄

T-Mobile: $274.99 + t...

Unofficial Sidekick roadmap plans:

Not sure where it was taken or if this is even legit, but supposedly someone out there sneakily snapped this pic of T-Mobile’s Sidekick roadmap, possibly revealing that they’re planning to introduce a music-centric Sidekick III in April of next year and a second version with support for UMA (aka Unlicensed Mobile Access, a standard for seamlessly roaming back and forth between GSM cellular and WiFi networks — it sounds like T-Mob might be taking advantage of all their hotspots) in September of 2006, with Sidekick III limited editions to follow a month later (just like how they intr

Happy Thanksgiving to T-Mobile and customers!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have been working all day on my Thanksgiving meal.

I have my Turkey in the oven stuffed with cranberry stuffing and I used all fresh ingredients. I also have mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with cranberries and pumpkin and pecan pies for dessert.

Problem Switching from TMobile 1900 to 850 Roaming Partner

I was recently in central New Mexico where Tmobile roams on Plateau Wireless using the 850 mhz band. We had two Tmo phones - a Treo600 and a Motorola Razr V3.

When we first picked up Plateau, the Treo switched over automatically. The Razr did not...I had to turn it off then on to get Plateau.

I checked my network settings...Band is set for 850/1900 (other choices are 900/1800 or Automatic). Type is set for Automatic (other choice is Manual). Speed is set for Medium (other choices are Slow, Fast and Continuous).

As far as I can tell from the manual, these are the correct settings. Why did the Razr not switch?

MDA Data Device in Media

T-Mobile is scheduled to launch a new data device in 2006 called the MDA. Several media outlets have recently reported incorrectly that the MDA is available for purchase this holiday season. The device is actually scheduled to launch in late February 2006.

Possible T-Mobile Purchases

Guys and Gals,
Here are a list of potential purchases for T-Mobile (some of these are based on no more than the fact that they are a GSM carrier)
Airadigm Communications-
Centennial Wireless-
Dobson Wireless-
Edge Wireless-
Iowa Wireless-
Triton Wireless-(Suncom)
I, for a while, thought that T-Mobile would buy out Western Wireless for a few reasons including the fact that they were created by a former VoiceStream creator. The fact that they had decent coverage in rural areas.

Motorola Magenta RAZR

Is T-Mobile really launching a Magenta RAZR? Yes.

The new RAZR V3 in Magenta is the hottest handset to hit the market. With all the same functionality and sleek style of the silver RAZR, the Magenta RAZR is a limited edition handset, and exclusive to T-Mobile. It doesn’t get any hotter than this! Unless, of course, you add the new Magenta Bluetooth headset to match!

Pricing:

Retail Stores: $249.99
Upgrade Program: $249.99

Available in most retail locations: 11/25
Available in Upgrade Programs: 11/25

new family plan prices

they changed add a line to 7.99 like everyone said...they are really making theses plans cheap yet the service in my opinion is getting better! i cant see on long island why people would stay with cingular and verizon b/c there paying at least $20 more for there plans and the service in the area is basically the same...GO TMOBILE! 😁

T-Mobile Uses Cingular Network if T-Mo is unavail?

I live in the NY Metro area (Live Westchester/work Manhattan) When I signed up for T-Mobile, I was told that if I was in an area where I didn't pickup a T-Mobile signal, the phone would connect to the Cingular network and it would show "Cingular" on the screen and that there wouldn't be a charge. Well, I get NO reception on my v330 on the subway or at grand central on the train but my cingular Blackberry has full bars. Also, at home in White Plains, I'm lucky to get a single bar on T-Mobile.. sometimes NONE yet my blackberry will have full bars... and the phone NEVER switches over to cingular. I called T-Mobile and they confirmed the phone should switch and that I should "call them from a lan line when I'm at a location where my cell is de...

Retentions?

I'm a 3 year customer of tmo, with a voice and unlimited data plan in the $60 range.
Out of contract almost a year now.

What could I expect in the way of special offers by talking with retentions? I'm willing to re-contract for another 1 or 2 years.

What I'd like is to get a new EDGE capable phone like the V330 for less than $100.00

Using a great V620 OEM phone now, but not EDGE capable.

Or would I be better served just cancelling my service and re-contracting with a new phone number (no big deal for me).

Alternatively, anyone here have a used V330 for sale cheap?

Cheers!
