I was really excited when i saw that T-Mobile is coming out with the Nokia 8801, a pretty cool slider phone with mp3. But then I saw the price - $550 bucks??!!! Please tell me there's a typo. I looked on Nokia's website, and the camera is only VGA, it did not mention it had any removable memory, and nothing else fancy about it. Just a slider, mp3 player, speaker phone, bluetooth, and a radio. Basically a 6103 with mp3. But $550?????

Are we also going to start hiring loan officers in the stores so that people can finance this phone? Do we have to run another credit check to see if they're approved to buy it? Can customers use the equity against their house to buy it?

Is this a rip off? Or can someone actually justify selling ...

I heard that you can put a SIM card from a Sidekick 2 and put it into another cell phone that also have Internet. I heard that you can do it for a day or so before they find out you are using a different cell phone and end up raising the price.

If I got a cell phone that can hook up to the PC and use it as a modem, will it work? What I am afraid is, they may format the web pages for the Sidekick and the web pages will look weird on the computer.

Since I work as a Verizon tech I really don't understand all the billing stuff.
Basically, My personal phone is with T-Mobile. I will not cancel a personal line just because I work elsewhere.
Well, when I got my new phone, I went through 4 different phones in a week due to all being bad.
A T-mobile rep gave me 75 bonus mins for all the trouble. I figured it was just for that month but its still on the next month as well.

How long does that stay?

I read before someone mentioned its like for a certain amount of months or will I have 1075mins til I change my plan?

Well. I've been with VZW for 5 years, currently have 4 lines. I have 3 coming off this year. I was looking into sprint, but they seem to be unable to deliver on thier promises. I spent 2 weeks and lots of frustration with a SERO account, great plan, but the CSR's just cant seem to get anything into the computer to take as far as modifications. They promise you this and then nada.
Anyway. I asked VZW if they valued my business, they said yes, I said ok please include 500 free text messages in my account and i'll re sign my contract. They said, sorry we don't offer freebies, ok then, i'm tired of paying top dollar for crap phones and a good signal.
Now i'm wondering how the tmobile service In LA is . . Appreciate your feedback. ....

I need help decided which phone to pick. I was just going to get a Sony Ericsson W600i unlocked but then the Samsung T609 came out and now I can't decide. They both look like great phones. So if you have any experience with any of these phones please post. THANKS A LOT!!! 🙂 😁 😉

I currently have Cingular in the Los Angeles area. Works pretty well except for my house, damn!!

I'm thinking about switching to TMobile for a variety of reasons; rate plans, customer services, flexibility, etc.

I just don't know what to expect. All the review and ratings I've read are based on overall service. I'm looking for real world, call quality opinion.

Does anyone have any thing to say about the comparison between Cingular and TMobile's networks?

Most T-Mobile Corporate stores in the New England region are scheduled to launch the Sidekick 3 on July 8th. This is straight from upper management. I'm not sure about the rest of the country. However i would imagine that it would be launching around that time. I suppose there is a chance that this date may change. However that is the date as of right now.

Does the SK2 support MP3 and if so is there a way to transfer from PC to SK II????

Ok, my T-Mobile contract expires in Aug. I use this phone as my landline. I have the $29.99 plan; will T-Mo let me get a discounted price on a phone upgrade in Aug? I know it's a cheap plan, but like I said this is my landline and I don't use it that much, so this plan fits me just right. If I decide to upgrade with T-Mo. Will they make me go to a higher plan? or extend for 2 yrs? I had a 1 yr contract to begin with...
