Pairing the T-Mobile Moto RAZR and Motorola HS820 headset possible?

My friend got her RAZR V3 from T-Mobile, and she just bought the Motorola HS820. She charged the bluetooth headset, but the V3 is saying "no device found" when we try to pair the phone and the bluetooth headset. Is something wrong with this phone or headset?

Treo 650

Everyone in my office, 12 colleagues, have all switched to the Treo 650 except me. I'm stuck with my 7100t but my patience is begining to wear a little thin. I might have to bite the bullet and move to another carrier. I know this is old news, but has anyone heard any news on T Mo coming out with the 650?

Why not buy the Western Wireless GSM network?

Seeing that we now have massive roaming coverage areas (850 and 1900) with western wireless, and western wireless is being bought by another CDMA carrier why not make a play for their GSM network. I know just last year they bought just about all of the T-mobile network in montana and wyoming and T-mobile would be buying it back (probably marked up) but that is only a fraction of the GSM network they own. Probably not a lot of population in these areas but wouldn't it be nice to have coverage in new places and have it actually be owned by T-mobile? From what I've read they also are sitting on tons of unused licenses that can only be used for GSM, what would Alltel want with these? Just a thought.

And Again...

Well, I don't put much stock in mobileadia.com, but they show, yet again that Cingular is going to get another really cool phone this year. Formally listed as the V1150, the RAZR V3x is listed for Q4 2005 to be a Cingular release. That being said, it also still lists the V635 as a Q2 2005 release. Isn't it Q3 already.... 🙄

T-Mobile USA, Nextel, and Sprint PCS getting sued in NYC!

Cell-phone firms get call they didn't want from city

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

The city’s Department of Consumer Affairs has filed a lawsuit that accuses three cellular telephone companies of using deceptive advertising to sell wireless services and equipment.

The agency named Nextel Communications Inc., Sprint Spectrum LP., and T-Mobile USA Inc., as defendants, saying they promised free incoming calls, free long-distance, and free cell phones when in fact those things were offered with costly conditions.

Jonathan Mintz, Consumer Affair’s acting commissioner, cited examples of print ads that he called deceptive because of the way they used type size. “They’re telling you one thing in the large print and taking it away in the fine prin...

OK... Got some problems, and need some advice.....

Hi Everybody...

OK... I'm a long term T-mobile customer and have always been VERY happy. Where we live, coverage has always been excellent and I like the price of th plans and the service.

Anyway, about a year ago I bought the V600 and I have been happy with it overall. I have had it exchanged once or twice for a new one due to some minor problems (a key not working or something like that) but overall it has been a good phone.

But recently, we have seen a decline in the level of coverage we get in our home. Not sure why, it has just gotten worse. Maybe the winds are blowing in a different direction, or maybe there's a problem with a tower. We have called T-mobile on the issue multiple times and it does not seem to get resolves....

T-mobile and 850 MHz Question

I'm looking to get the Samsung E730, but the specs show that it doesn't support the 850 MHz band. I've been hearing that T-mobile is currently working on agreements and such to be able to use the 850 band.

Does anyone know anything more about this?

I really want to get the E730, but if T-mobile is rolling out with 850, I'd like to be able to take advantage of it. I don't know if T-mobile has any 850 agreements here in KY, or if its just the "pulling a signal out of nowhere" power that Nokia's have - but when I got the Nokia 6010 I noticed a world of difference in reception 😳 . Again, not sure if this is 850 related, but I'm quite aware of the advantages that the 850 band has in rural areas, which I go to quite often.

Any in...

Unauthorized calls to Syria and Iraq

I recently heard a news story about two T-Mobile customers who had over $2000 in international long distance for calls to two numbers in Syria and Iraq. The strange part was both customers are totally unrelated to one another, yet had been charged for calls to the same numbers. Both customers challenged the charges and were originally denied a credit, but were eventually credited back. T-Mobile says they are investigating the situation, along with Homeland Security.

Has anyone heard about this going on with other customers or carriers? And is this a new national security threat?

How to Improve Signal at Home???

I would love to use my mobile phone at home. Currently I get one bar if I'm lucky! 👿 Do they make signal amplifiers for GSM? Something I could plug in, perhaps with an antenna on my roof, that would amplify the signal to/from my phone to the nearest tower?

(It sounds like a good idea, but my gut feeling is the FCC has a ban on such devices.)

T-Mobile possible outcomes based on actual FACTS.

This is sad. The possible outcomes that have been tossed onto this forum. One said "Its a buy-out, not merger" There is no difference, you know who you are-guy who said this. One said "you cant have a GSM monopoly" Well, the DOJ does not consider the medium in witch the service is delivered, they consider who/what controls the market. Other-wise Nextel, and their iDEN would be an Lol, out-law biker of wireless. Sorry, but when I read that I cried, I was laughing so hard...cant have a GSM monop... good gosh you must have a pea brain. Also people have said VZ may loose "Deep pocketed Voda" Fault! They (VZ) are possibly the most expensive carrier in USA. Where is that "Financial backing" step aside CS rep! You are a CS rep because of one reason...

SIM card issue

I have a Samsung e315 and just received a replacement for a defective unit, but now my stored contacts that I had on my SIM card are all saved as "mobile" numbers when I had categorized them as "home," "work," etc. I can't go back to my old phone because I already sent it back to T-Mobile, so I was wondering how I can change my contacts to show business numbers as work numbers and home numbers as home numbers, and so on. I tried the Edit function when in a contact entry, but that just allows me to change the contact name and phone number, but nothing else.

Am I missing something? I don't want to have to re-enter all my contacts just to have the correct category. Also, I am hoping to upgrade to a better phone like the Razr by early n...
