T-mobile Pearl Question

I want to get out of my contract but don't have 200 bucks to do so. Can i simply take off all the services on my phone? It would be like keeping the line there just wouldn't be any service on it.

Spare me the unnecessary backlash if you think this is a dumb question. Thank those who do help in advance.

Whats the next Tmob PDA Phone?

Hello, I have The Tmobile Wing and love it except for the mediocre processor speed.
I'm wondering when will the next PDA WM6 (or greater) hit the Tmob network?

Any info on it would be great.
All touchscreen (ala Iphone)?
Win Mobile or some other OS?

Thanks

Is Asurion worth it?

In addition to the last thread I posted, how has your experience with Asurion been? So far, I feel like they are way too expensive, and if you do the math, (multiply the monthly fee by the number of months of the contract, plus the deductible), it is just not worth it. It is way cheaper, for most phones, to just buy another phone.

Only for the most expensive phones, like the MDA, it is worth it, but they have some screwy limitations, for example, they will only replace the phone twice. Two replacements should be good enough for most people, however, with a two year contract, anything could happen.

What do you guys think?

IS the rocker E8's number keys touch? I see the little button dots but it's hard to determine... I have no time to go to the store to check...

Thanks, Sam

Thinking of making the change to TMo.

I live in Georgia, stay mainly north of ATL. We have MetroPCS currently, they have been great (we rarely travel outside of the metro ATL coverage area and it is dirt cheap!) but we are tired of the crappy phones and are looking to travel a bit in the next few years.

Should I go with T mobile or ATT/Cingular? we like getting more for our money, but we're worried about quality of customer service and coverage.

Thanks in advance,
Kat

Pearl 8120 vs Curve

Hey guys, gonna buy a phone primarily to use the HotSpot @ Home cause of my crappy reception at home.

Aside from the keyboard and screen, any significant differences between the Blackberry Pearl 8120 and the Curve?

A corporate T-Mobile rep said the 8120 is better cause it's got newer software than the Curve and the Curve and the first Pearl had a lot of "problems". But he didn't elaborate.

New Sidekicks?

Does anyone know if any new Sidekicks will be coming out any time soon? Besides the Tony Hawk one.

Let's get something straight

Okay... HEY! I am (Name withheld) and I work for the Asurion company and I want to get a few things straight here. An average claim takes about 5-7 minutes to finish without any problems (The problems include you switching your SIM card into a hundred different phones, Not having the correct documents faxed, not wanting to answer the verification questions (Which can put your claim on hold for up to 24 hrs), not being able to verify your own address (Believe me it happens), or not being the Authorized user on the account.

Also, how would we be responsible for the shipment of your phones. Once it is in DHL's hands, it is THEIR responsibility. We did our part, now they have to do theirs.

Do you guys know that EVERY single call that I ha...

Blackberry question

I was just about to pick up the curve 8320 tomorrow but realized the tmo version doesn't have GPS. I'm really interested in getting the curve so I can use Garmin through my phone. I know it works for Att's 8310 curve. So I guess my question is if I buy an unlocked 8310 for use on Tmo's network, get the blackberry unlimited plan, and get the garmin service will it actually work?

Blackberry Curve vs. Sidekick Slide.

Hi all, I'm a Metro PCS user about to take the plunge into t-mobile and I could really use some input.

I'm not looking for a regular flip phone or a razr.

I've looked into the wing which is too heavy and not worth the money in my opinion.

The Dash I don't find to be worth it, maybe I'm wrong on this so if so please enlighten me.

The Blackberry Pearl although nice doesn't appeal to me.

The Shadow, I'm not really a fan of it.

So, I've narrowed it down to the Curve or the Sidekick Slide.

I really like the fact I can get a sidekick and get the sidekick unlimited for just 20 dollars, but I'm concerned about the service of a sidekick.

I'm 22 years old, and I'm not a phone hound, I'm looking for a phone that will last me a g...

Get out of your Tmo contract, no ETF, RIGHT NOW (if you wanna)

This is from consumerist.com

Want to get out of your T-mobile cellphone contract without paying a $200 early termination fee? Now you can. T-mobile is raising its text message rates August 29th to 20 cents per message. This counts as what is known as a "materially adverse change of contract." Under standard contract law, if one party changes the terms of the agreement in a way that financially harms the other party, then the contract is void. If the contract is void, so is any stipulation that you be charged a fee for breaking it (especially as technically they broke it first). You will have much better success arguing its a materially adverse change of contract if you are not currently in an unlimited text message plan. You don't have ...
