Ok, I just got the 8100 like a week ago and for any of you familiar with it PLEASE help me figure out how to turn off that stupid red and blue blinking light every time I get a call or txt!!! Thanks in advance

My son just upgraded his phone from a LG VX6100 to a LG VX8100. I looked at the power cords that came with both phones and both appear to be the same in specs and power supply. LG however changed the male and female connections on the 8100 which prevents me from using old power cords as backups and for traveling. I have to pay for new cords if I want backups and extras. If I am right then I'd like to know why they did this?

I just bought the LG C2000 and like it except for the ringtone feature. I am with Cingular and their website said it was not medianet capable and that is what you need to get the ringtones you download. Does anyone know any different? I am thinking about returning it for the Nokia 6102. Any info will help. Thanks in advance!!

I have a 3200 with a screen that lights up, but will not work, what should I do with it? It can still call, but you can't see anything on the screen! HELP!!!!

I have a VX6000 and I want to get an 8100. I want to be able to listen to mp3's on the phone, maybe watch videos, and transfer pictures. What all accessories do I need, and are they being sold in a convienent pack? I figure I can get the phone for free with new every 2 (verizon), and I would need the usb cable, car charger, and miniSD card. Do I need to get verizon's software to transfer files? Also, I have seen 2 GB miniSD cards on the net for about 60-70 bucks, would a 2 GB card work with this phone? Thanks for any and all advice. I want to make sure I get only what I need and I don't pay too much for it by buying the items at the high priced verizon store.

I currently bought the miniSD card for my LGx8100. I formatted the card through my phone and its working fine. I can move my pictures and sounds into the card. I tried adapting the memory card to my laptop (using the Mobile Mate SD+ adapter) but the card isn't working. I double-clicked on my "removable disk" drive through My Computer and windows tell me to format the memory card. I do as they say, but each time I attempt to format it, there would be an error saying "windows is unable to format drive." Why does it keep say that?? I contacted SANDISK with this problem and they didn't give me an answer to fix it... ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? Please help.. I've loaded a bunch of mp3's onto my transflash card, but when I try to set some as a ringer, it says that there is a 600k limit on the ringers. Does anyone know a quick and easy program to use to edit the size of an mp3?

I was able to re-program the down menu key, but the up which is the web stuff I don't care about but would like to set it to something that I would use... like the alarm clock

I just wanted to know if there was a way I could hide/lock my pictures/camera so if anyone wanted to gain access to that part of my phone they would have to type in a password?

i have a friend that also has this phone and when you go to the gallery there are just boxes with question marks in them. you cannot view the pictures or erase the pictures. anyone know of a way to fix this

Anyone have any idea why the F9200 was pulled out of Cingular stores & only available off their Web site? Sure the camera's poor compared to the newest phones. But for the 12 - 15 age group, it's a great phone (my daughter has the F9100 & has been the envy of her chums & my son has been waiting for same w/camera). Was it *that* bad?

I have a new faceplate for my LG 1400i. I've removed the two bottom screws on the inside hood with a Torx6 screwdriver bit. However, I can't seem to get the faceplate off from there. I don't want to force it. Any further directions? Thanks~
