I have a LG VX6100 phone (2 weeks) I want to download my MS Outlook contacts. I have BitPim software, and bought a cable from 3Gcables. I can't seem to get the drivers downloaded or to make the phone connect. Can anyone offer any help. Thank you in advance

anyone know how to raise the PTT volume on a LG4700? i'm a rep testing the service, and the only fault so far is I can't hear the alert volume in a noisy area. any help would be great! THANKS!

Does anyone have a stock faceplate for a lg L1400. Mines got a big crack on it and I don't wanna buy a aftermarket one. I'm just wondering if anyone has one laying around there willing to sell.

Just looking for peoples overall opinion of LG. I'm always thinking about upgrading and getting an LG but, I just can't seem to trust a company called Lifes Good. So what are your thoughts?

When i have spkr phone enabled i cant hear the person on thats calling me unless i change the volume on the side of the phone. Nebody have this problem? Onc i change the volume I hear the caller its very strange.

On my LG 1200 I can get rid of the voicemail message Icon by pressing 7 (or sometimes 77). But it doesn't delete the message. At the end of the vm message when the recording comes on to "press 7 to Delete, 0 for more options", etc., I can press keys until **** freezes over and nothing happens ... then the recording comes back with "Hello - are you still there?"

Do any of the Verizon LG Phones have a true PC Sync option? One which handles calendar, and contacts bidirectionally without a lot of hassle. I have an 4500, which is a great phone, and the only solution I have found is Datapilot. It handles scheduler, music and contacts, and is better than the Verizon contact manager. However, it is still not as good as some of the PC Sync functions available on other phones.

I got my new LG Vx6100 two weeks ago and since then had to replace it twice.
I found on ebay the USB cable and the driver (http://stores.ebay.com/E-Coolcom) and used BIT-PIM to sync my contacts and ringtones.

I also tried to use Digital PIMP to sync my calendar (had it working great on the my previous VX 6000)

During the transfer the phone shut down and would not come up again, I went and replaced it and trying it again it crashed during the contact transfer to the phone.

Any idea why and how to avoid it?
Is it the cable (It also recharges)?
Is it Bit Pim ?
Is it Digital PIMP ?

I've been reading that some have had a problem with the VX 6100's ability to capture and hold a signal. What is the opinion of those of you who have owned this phone? Have you had problems with its reception and strength of signal?

I was wandering if LG made it so you can use the same car charger that was used on the 4400 on the 7000 or 8000. Anybody know..thanks

I have an lg 8000 and I read in a magazine that you can set the phone on the side and turn the inside lcd into a "wide screen setting" when watching movies but I cant seem to figure out how to do this Ive been through the manual and nothing and through the phone and still nothing?

I recently purchased the VX8000 phone but cannot seem to figure out if you can set the phone to vibrate and then ring. My old LG was able to do this. Also what purpose does the front LCD serve with the flip open? I've set it to have the same wallpaper as the main LCD but when the flip is open all I see on the front LCD is the Verizon Wireless screen. With the flip closed do the buttons on the front LCD do anything besides play tunes?

Hi i purchased the Lg Vx8000 from verizon which i have been very happy with their celluar service for the past year and thats why i extended for another 2 years. My question is before i bought the phone, i did research and found out it has mp3 features. When i recieved the phone i played around and cannot figure out for the life of god how to get the mp3's uploaded onto my phone using email, 3gupload or any wap loading services. I called verizon and the guy said, just like the v710 they do not offer the mp3 features on their phones.


Is their any way around to this? I can send my self mp3 converted to midi files all day long but cannot get a full lenght mp3 file onto my phone.

any help would be appreaciated, or else the phone will ...

Supposedly there is another upgrade coming out for the 6100, besides the volume upgrade. Does anybody know what it will be for?

I had a customer stop by with this phone and it was stuck in "Car Kit" mode. We tried a hard reset on the phone and apparentely this phone has software issues. So if you or someone elses vx7000 is stuck on "Car Kit" mode, you have to take the phone to a corporate store so they can reprogram the software on the phone.

I can only get 176 X 144 for movies, is this correct? Also, I have noticed that sometimes I can not save my hig-res camera pictures until I "reboot" the phone. Has anyone found a way to get this to fail consistantly so we can get it fixed? Thanks in advance!
