Speaker phone-what's up with this, you Motorola engineers are idiots

I hate that I can't use the speaker phone until after the phone dials and makes a connection, plus it seems like the person has already answered the phone and said hello once or twice before I can activate the speaker.

This bugs me to no end, hopefully some can tell me how to change this. 👿

I also dislike this "feature" very much. You would think that having full speakerphone support would be a "basic" option nowadays...

I any case, the only recommendation I have for you is that you get a headset. You can use your voice dialing option and the call will go directly to your headset speaker without the need of opening the phone.

Another good thing is that if you receive a call, you can answer using the headset too without opening the phone either.

I attended a design and test related conference in southern France about a month ago at ETSI (European Telecommunication Standardization Institute). All major phone vendors attend these conferences to describe their design ideas and their work to improve their overall product quality.

After Siemens, Motorola is considered to be the company with poorest software design and quality solutions in their phones. I guess this explains to a large extent why Motorola does not have a larger piece of this market.

I bought a V600 a couple of weeks ago and the phone just drove me mad with all its problems. Needless to say, I went back to my previous phone and made my second promisse in life never to buy a Motorola phone again. I bought this becaus...
