Motorola V600

Ive noticed that cingular has a bunch of high quality mp3 ringtones of current songs, yet att has crap ringtones and graphics. does anyone kno wher i can get mp3 ringtones and graphics? or does anyone kno how i can get access to cingulars or when that will happen cuz of the merger? they already have started allowing the use of each companies towers for both.

i cant find out how to do mp3 tones some one please help 😉

Hey all, I have another question for this group of cell phone gurus. Which service is better: t-mobile or at&t? I've heard good and bad things about both. I live in the Chicago suburbs but will be moving to the city in the coming years. So preferably I'd like to hear from someone in this area but I'd gladly take the advice of anyone that can explain which one is better and for what reasons. Also, what about sprint? What service do they run on? Actually, could someone just list the service providers and what they run on and which the v600 should work on? Hi All, I bought an unlocked phone (aparently european.. color is spelled colour), Anyway it's working well for Suncom.

I don't know how to make the internet work though. They have activated it for me, but I don't know how to set up the phone. Any suggestions?

1. enabling Bluetooth to be active all the time. currently under setup>connections>bluetooth - it only allows me to set Bluetooth temporary

2. is there an ability to create short-cuts?

Any one with a V600 have any experience with any make/model of BT car kits? This is the primary reason I bought the V600, and before I invest another chunk of money on a car kit

Ok I've had the V600 for 6 days now and I'm starting to notice a few quirks in the phone. The biggest being that the damn screen goes blank sometimes. It didn't happen in the begining but starting to happen more often now. It happened like 3 freakin times today! WTF! What the hell is wrong with this phone, software issue or what? Should I contact AT&T, Motorola? Is there a firmware upgrade that'll fix this issue? Anyone else have this problem with their V600.

I need help I have already been to the howardforums and went by their procedure of setting up wap settings for t-zones, and mms settings for picture messaging went by the book exactly, but cannot get t-zones to work once I launch for t-zones all i get is the url website on top of my screen which is---
(wap.myvoicestream.com) and on the top left corner next to the service metter a lock shows up, only once it's connected to the website thats wend the lock shows up with the name on top but the screen is empty (white)

I also went with the t-mobile OTA configurater,
by giving youre # in phone descripcion, howardforums suggested to apply the V400 as youre phone cause t-mobile doesn't show the V600and they send the setting to you via OTA

I Just got the v600 and love it. I use AT&T.

In the address book, I have copied all the SIM entries to the phone. However, when I view the phonebook I see double entries for each name: one for the phone memory and one for the SIM-card memory.

Is there any way to view only the phone memory? The only way I can think of is deleting the duplicate names on the SIM card... and clearly, I do not want to delete all the names from my SIM-card...and you need the names in the phone memory to run one touch dialing.

In other phones you can select SIM, Phone, or all.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Kinda disgusted but I chipped the outer lens (the black part) of my phone.

Ive read the manual 3 times. Ive looked on the web. Ive gone through the phone. How in the heck do you set up the v600 so your voicemail password is entered automatically when you check your voicemail? I cant figure it out!!

Ive got a voicemail password. I just cant figure out where to enter it on the phone so I dont have to type it in every time.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
