Motorola V600

Got an unlocked ATT branded V600 and i need to know how to setup Tzones settings on device and is there a setting for MMS..

Does anybody know how to link two v600s and then get then phonebook from one transfered to the other. I can't even get the two phones to see each other.

I seriously will never understand it, so much hype, for such a below average phone, it's bulky, heavy, the blutooth has problems all the time, and the menu and general loading times are unacceptable. Once again....Motorola has come out with another POS phone, no wonder why they are laughed at in the PCS community. Stick with anything else...preferably Siemens or Nokia. Anything that is a Series 60 Symbian Nokia Device will work wonders.

I'm looking buying the HS810 bluetooth. Does have anything good/bad to say about this or other bluetooth versions?

I have the v600 and I really like it, BUT there is one problem. In my apartment (where I use it the most) I have pretty bad reception. I usually have 1-2 bars showing. Its really frustrating b/c I have a lot of dropped calls.

Is there anything I can do, I don't want to return the phone. Is there like a more powerful antenna or something I can buy?

Anyone that has an unlocked and unbranded V600 using MPT. Did you have to download P2K to get the correct driver for the phone? Also when I go to control panel and modems and choose the Motorola USB, it says the modem info is corrupt and I need to remove it. Any ideas?

I just got my phone back from Motorola's Service Center and I'm VERY UNHAPPY! (& maybe mad ...) 👿

I sent it in to get the crack on the black outer plastic fixed (which they did, and they replaced the back where the front hits the back so it wouldn't hit the plastic again) ... BUT! ... they ALSO changed (without my permission) my perfectly good, sharp, and bright screen for a dimmer, color-off, fuzzier (older?) screen 👿 😡 😳 👿

how do you flex the attws version of the v600 and get all teh crap off?

Everybody I talk to from cingular has no clue. All that they know is that it will be very soon. Well being since the phone was originally supposed to be released waay back when, that info is not very helpful. Personally, I like cingular and their service and I don't want to leave. Thanks for any info.

Has anyone installed any Java (.JAR) games on their V600? Have you noticed that none of them work with sound? Is there a reason for this?

Also, is there a good place to get games/apps specifically for the V600?

IVE SEEN IT FOR MY OWN EYES A T-MOBILE BRANDED V600 MY MANAGER RECIVED IT AS A GIFT AND IT WILL BE OUT FOR T-MOBILE VERY SOON!

My phone doesn't give me the option of changing it, any one else have this problem or have a solution?

On the locked at&t version the banner says at&t wireless on both the outside and main screens. On my old LG vx10 (verizon) there was a feature to change the banner text to anything you wished. does this exist on unlocked phones? if not, what determines what that banner says?

Yesterday I was able to finally pickup my new V600 and came across a couple of questions I am hoping someone here can help me with:

How do I get the phone to ring when I have my bluetooth headset connected? I know it rings in the headset but I am not going to wear my headset all day. As of right now the most I can get it to do is vibrate.

Secondly, is there a way to only show the numbers stored in the phone when looking at the phonebook? I have duplicate numbers all over the place ( 👿 ) Not to mention that I can not copy all the numbers from my sim at once, I have to go through and check off which names I want to transfer name by name (and I did look in the manual however it said to choose "Copy" which is not an option in my phon...

Does anyone who bought a colorful faceplate have this problem....the back left side (looking from the back of the phone) does not fit properly. What is this blackdot thing that is coming through the back? it seems that it's stoping the back part from correctly situating itself. The back right side fits properly, where the volume button is...but left side does not go down all the way, where the voice dialing button is. help

How do I know the software version thats on my phone. I have a problem in one of the Java applications and wanted to see if this is a software problem and if there are any software or firmware upgrades.

I am attempting to use my v600 with my tungsten to connect to AT&T's GPRS network. The t3 recognizes the phone but hangs and says the driver is not matching the phone. I have checked high and low with both PalmOne and Motorola. Does anyone know where I can find the compatible .prc file for my Tungsten T3 device to 'fully' recognize my phone? What solutions have worked for you? I've gone to attw's website and followed their instructions to a tee. It seems to be trying to connect but then fails with an error message. Anyone?? 😢

has anyone been able to use their phone as a wireless modem?? im trying to find a way to connect my laptop w/o buying the data package. i have the unlimited interenet express plan.

can someone PLEASE explain what it means to unlock a phone? what benefits does this come with? what drawbacks are there?
