Motorola V600

I just got my v600 in store for $199.99 (they matched the current online price) that was on 4/1/04 and now the pice is at $179.99...wich is really awsome cause there is a great deal going on with the phone. but I'm starting to worrie about this phone comming out brand new and beeing so cheap...it makes me think that Motorola and at&t are just trying to get rid of them for some reason.... maybe b/c of the merger?...😕

does the v600 have flash on the camera?

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this board but you all look very knowledgable so I figured I'd ask a few questions.

I bought a V600 Unlocked and plan to use it on Suncom. (they are in VA south, and use AT&T's network) Is there anything I need to know/do when I take it in to activate the phone? Do they insert some card I have to buy from them? I have no idea I'm GSMclueless! Thanks for any help.

im trying to get a belt clip for my v600 i got it today im in californa la. can any one tell me where thieer is a good stop to buy them or online.

Has anyone notices a slight crack or chip showing up on the black lense of the V600? Did I read somewhere this is a defect and Moto will change it?

I have cingular gsm service. can i buy the v600 from the att internet store, cancel the plan, and keep the phone so i can use it for cingular? Im not worried about unlocking the phone, i have that covered, just the logistics/fees assoicated.

I read some early reviews saying it was buggy as anything. I guess that they were still just working the bugs out of them. I've had a V600 for a few days now and I don't have any problems to report. Its an awesome phone. Not worth waiting all these months for but still a damn good phone nonetheless!!

if anyone here is either unable to program their phone, or is tooweary of doing it themselves, I can recommend someone here in los angeles. I wanted full Cingular functionality and to have my phone Americanized. In my settings, I wanted "color style", not "colour style" and I wanted the web to function automatically, complete with cingular promts that allow me to one button surf, one button get tones, pics, etc. So I had mine programmed with the ER flex, which I am really happy with. regardless of flex or carrier, if anyone needs help or programming, I thought this guy was great. no pressure, very nice guy and most importantly concerned about doing a good job and about the customer being happy. they have a site: gsmexperts.net, which ...

What is the software you are all using to sync up your data? I try to get the software from Motorola, and I get an "internal server error." I tried DataPilot and it does not support this phone.

Are there any other options?

Also, do I need to turn on the blue tooth feature manually every time I want to sync my V600?

Any help would be great!

So i know that we JUST got our phones....but does anyone know of any companys that are making other faceplates besides the boring Motorola ones? How long after a phone comes out does it usually take for companys to start selling them?? (i am looking for a pink one!! 😁 )

hey all, is it possible for me to buy an unmarked unlocked v600 and use it at verizon wireless? if not could someone tell me why so i can get a better understanding of how all this works? also, where can i get the phone unmarked and unlocked (besides ebay)?

I heard there there is a $50 main in rebate on the V600 is this true and if so where can i get it?

I just went down to my local midtown ATT store and picked up the V600. I showed them the online offer and was able to get it for $174.99 plus tax with a one year.

Ok any of u heard the ringtones they have on Sprint phones? THey play the exact song is there anyway I can get the song on my phone for a ringtone like SPrint??? 😉

I have a question for hose of you who own a usb adapter for your computer/laptop. I wanted to get a bluetooth adapter for my laptop, but I was going to get the Linksys that will work for 100meter as opposed to the 10 meter one they have at best buy. I'm not to educated on all of the bluetooth technology yet, so what I was wandering was that if the V600 is enabled for 10 meter bluetooth, could I use a 100 meter adapter on my laptop and still get the 100 m? Or am I only limited to what the V600 can reach?

if i get this phone from at&t can i still access that site you gave out for ringtones and mp3's and all that jazz or do i have to buy it unlocked?

when i leave my phone open, after a min my screen saver comes on, but a min after that it goes black, i've turned off my battery saver?? whats the deal??
