LG VX-6000

When forwarding a text from this cell to someones android does the ORIGINAL senders information go to?

I just got my new phone and I can't for the life of me figure out how to work the external display. Help??

My lg vx6000 just started not making any sounds at all!
I might have messed round with some of the settings, but I can't find a way to have the phone make sounds again.

For example-
My volume was set to high and when someone called me it just vibrated. Also the key volume was on but they aren't making any noises


Can anyone help me with my problems before I take it into the Verizon Wireless store???

I just got the lg vx 6000 phone. It worked for about a day then the next day i went to use the phone the screen was all white. Iv tried turning it on off and takeing out the battery several times. The phone still works but the screen is just blank white. the front of the phone is also working. I really need help please!

Does this phone allow for the deletion of individual numbers from the call history? I understand the *entire* listing of calls can be deleted, but is it possible to delete a particular number from the listing?

I am shopping for a phone to replace my VX-6000. One issue that appears to be a stumbling block for me is the CONTACTS LIST on new VZW phones. Currently, my Contacts have fields for up to 5 phone numbers, up to 3 e-mails, Group, call ringer, text ringer, NOTES, picture, Secret/Not secret, and URL. I use the NOTES field to put in a person's address, and if it doesn't all fit, I use the URL field too. Zip codes, store hours, and In-Network status are noted here.
However, all the new VZW phones I have looked at with the new VZW menus have no fields for notes. Only numbers emails and assignments for sounds and pics.
Are there any current VZW phones that have the NOTES and/or URL fields in the Contacts?

I just got several refurbished LG vx6000 phones for a club and several members complain that the person they're calling 😢 can't hear them. All other functions work. I'm thinking maybe there's a setting that needs to be changed? Any help would be appreciated.

On the main screen.....it says Silence All across the screen and none of the sound is working....not even the keypad....how do i get the sound to turn back on? I'm about 2 go to bed so e-mail me at

Does anyone know the unlock code so my vx6000 can be unlocked to be used on another carrier? And then, how to utilize that code to unlock the phone? I brother wants my phone (I upgraded) but he's in a contract w/ another carrier. Can anyone help?

Is there a way to switch between hi and low vibrate because in class my phone is often heard because the vibrate is so loud.
Also, where do i find the standard rings on the phone, besides the songs that you can also use?

Does anybody know what this feature is for? It is under Settings --> Voice Services, you can turn it on or off and says something about a speaker, but I was unable to find anything in the manual or online about it. Any info would be appreciated

Ok, I can't use the "Reply" feature on my phone. When someone sends me a text message, and I would like to reply back, I'd have to go back and go to "New Message" then put in the person's # then type the message... there are a few people I know with my service provider that has the same problem. However, a couple of friends of mine, who are with a different service provider but has the same phone, has this feature WORKING! When I headed over to my Service provider Tech Center, they informed me that the LG VX-6000 DOES NOT have this feature. I find that odd because it does. Can someone please help me out? ☹️

That's my first question.

My second is my wife wants her phone to ring and vibe, but on the "High & Vibrate" setting, the ringer is way too loud. Any way to lower the volume but still have the vibrate function on? Maybe a hack to adjust what "high" is. Thanks...

I am trying to upload ringers into my LG 6000 phone. I'm trying to upload using BitPim and tryin to upload an mp3. Is it possible to upload mp3 as ring tones?
I see that the phone received the mp3, but when i go to play it back, i hear no sound.

Anyone else have this issue?

I used this VX6000 until March when I bought my new phone. Added a 3rd line to our family share plan, and now suddenly 3 months later, this phone cannot get reception for anything. It was working fine a month ago. Any clues?

Hi all...I seem to remember a function where you could pull up the last numbers you punched on your phone WHILE you were on a call...like if you were on 411, and dialed the number right into your phone while listening, you could pull that number up later.
Only problem is I cant remember how to do it.

Hello everyone .....I was wondering if anybody knows a back door way to get the unlock code on this phone? I gave the LG VX 6000 to one of my relatives in my country. The phone was activated and programmed on NAM2 , by accident the phone got lock and now we are unable to unlock it. We try every default code possible but didn't work and becuase it was programm in NAM2 we are unable to use the last phone numbers of the cell phone.
