does anyone know how to pull up any type of hidden menu that would allow me to remove the verizon banner from this phone????

Nope to get rid of it you have to get a data cable and download a program called bitpim which you can find on www.howardforums.com Good luck, idid it and now i have new lg 8000 thank god no verizon banner messing up pi of my wife.
